I’ll say I do a thousand times if I need to, I’ll walk a thousand miles if I need to, I’ll wait a thousand years if I need to, I’ll give a thousand kisses if I need to, I’ll give my heart, my life, to you.

July 1st 2026 I had the honor of receiving my first degree on my black belt and my professor’s bar from Sensei @johnnysd

It’s hard to put into words what this journey has meant to me. Fifteen years on the mats have taught me so much more than techniques and competitions, but discipline, respect, perseverance, and the importance of serving others.

I want to express my gratitude to my professors for believing in me, guiding me, and showing me what it truly means to be both a martial artist and a professor. Receiving this recognition from people I admire and respect so deeply makes this moment even more meaningful.

Everyone from @alliancebjjsandiego that has welcomed me with the warmest arms and made me feel at home since the first visit. The environment that we have is special and receiving the opportunity to be apart of this it’s a dream coming true and forever I’ll always be grateful.

Wearing my professor’s bar is not just an honor, but a responsibility. I hope to keep giving back to the art that has given me so much, shaped me to be who I am today, and to positively impact everyone who steps onto the mats with me.

Big thanks to @alliancebjjsanmarcos @vini.linobjj for hosting it.
Second time attending Lucas’ seminar, and it’s always a game changer. I hope to visit his gym one day and learn even more from the goat of lightweight. 🦅🔥 taken in Alliance Bjj San Marcos by @matheusalarcaobjj

Gratitude. That’s the main feeling that is filling my heart right now. The San Diego Judo family trusted in my work back in 2023 and it has been 3 years that I was able to lead their Jiu jitsu program. Today I say farewell to this amazing group of people that I got to know along the way. Thank you to Sensei Leilani Akiyama and Sensei Jacob Flores for opening the doors for me, I’ll always be thankful. You trusted in my work when a lot of people didn’t, that gave me the opportunity to show my work, for that, thank you. I wish @sandiegojudo all the best, always! To all my students, thank you for this time together, we created memories that I’ll never forget, and I’m sure that you won’t forget too. I love all of you, thank you for helping me to shape me into the professor I am today!
THANK YOU! 🙏🏻🥲♥️
