Grateful and inspired after being a top 6 finalist in the World Bank Youth Summit Pitch Competition 2023! 🌱💡

I had the incredible opportunity to present our social innovation, @akofresh.co to a global audience and a high-level team of jury members.

Unforgettable moment as I took the stage, delivered a compelling pitch and left the audience inspired about how local solutions can accelerate global impact 🌎🚀

But that's not all! Alongside this remarkable achievement, I established lasting connections with fellow innovators, summit delegates, mentors, and thought leaders. This network of changemakers is sure to inspire collaboration and foster even greater positive change in the future. 🤝✨

Honored to accept the inaugural OPEC Fund Youth Entrepreneurship Award in Vienna 🇦🇹 on behalf of our incredible team at @akofresh.co .

This prestigious award recognizes young entrepreneurs under 30 building solutions for climate action, food security, and renewable energy across the developing world.

What started as a bold vision has grown into a mission to help smallholder farmers reduce post-harvest losses through solar-powered cold storage, refrigerated transport, and climate-smart innovation.

Grateful to the OPEC Fund for International Development for believing in youth-led innovation and endorsing our work. @opecfund

A special thank you to @youth4climate_ team for the nomination and support.

This is for every young changemaker who is building something impactful in their community. 🌍💚

Some rooms change you. This is one of them.
I’m in Napa Valley, California; Honored to be part of the inaugural Praxis Africa Fellows cohort at the 2026 Redemptive Imagination Summit, a gathering of Christian entrepreneurs, impact investors, and philanthropists who believe social impact can be a force for genuine good in the world.

Being selected for the inaugural Africa class is something I don’t take lightly. It’s a reminder that the work we’re doing at @akofresh.co is a mission worth showing up fully for.

To the @praxis_hq community, thank you for this room and this community. I’m inspired, connected, and more committed to making more impact.

Africa’s rural farmers can’t afford to lose up to a third of their crops to inefficient supply chains that leave products to go to waste before they make it to market.

@mathias_c.y founded @akofresh.co to save their harvest through solar-powered cooling. From mobile cooling tricycles to cold rooms for storage, AkoFresh extends the life of perishable crops by weeks, reducing food waste and giving producers more time to find buyers. The innovative technology is already helping over 3,000 farmers and working toward a more resilient food system in sub-Saharan Africa.

We are inspired by Mathias’s commitment to promoting economic prosperity alongside environmental sustainability. We’re grateful to have him as a Fellow in our 2026 Africa Accelerator.

I almost didn’t apply. Best decision I ever made was doing it anyway.

Honoured to be a @Youth4Climate 2024 Awardee for our work at @akofresh.co , bringing solar-powered cold storage to smallholder farmers across Ghana so that less food is lost and more families thrive.

Now it’s your turn.
The Y4C 2026 Call for Solutions is open. If you’re building something that matters — this is your sign. 🌱
