Walked into a shop built for people half my age and left with a mini short I have no context for beyond Sunday morning coffee with my husband and a third of our offspring, plus a white tee whose sleeves hit exactly where sleeves are morally obligated to hit - provided they’re paired with shorts shorter than short, in my extremely unprofessional opinion.

This episode is definitely getting brought up next Wednesday with my shrink, along with whether it’s an acceptable névrose to try the same pair of shoes on five times in 48 hours only to put them back, informing both my SO and my SA that I simply don’t do matelassé on shoes, and that ballerines are an ethnographic no-go par rapport to where I’m from in France. Other than that, the weekend was damn great.
