D.J. MacIntyre's SLC-6 Music revisits the work of Ivan Lozano with 'Redshift Remixed', bringing together five new interpretations from Doriaan, Matias Vega, David Podhel and Luciano Pelliza. With four original tracks providing the launch point, the collection gives each remixer room to explore Lozano's music from a fresh perspective. Opening the release is Doriaan with his interpretation of 'Burn Sequence', setting the stage for a double contribution from Matias Vega. Taking on 'Ignition', Vega explores the same original through his 'Fever Dream' and 'Acid' remixes, offering two separate visions and a chance to hear his creative range within a single release. Returning to SLC-6 following his remix of Trikoma's 'Somnia', David Podhel takes on 'Skinnarbu', adding another chapter to his relationship with the label. Luciano Pelliza rounds out the collection with his interpretation of 'Redshift', bringing the focus back to the title track for the closing selection. A new chapter for Ivan Lozano's originals: 'Redshift: Remixed' celebrates the exchange of ideas at the heart of SLC-6 Music. by @matiasvega_

Matías Vega is an electronic music DJ and producer born and based in Catamarca, Argentina. His sound focuses on progressive, melodic, and house music, characterized by depth, emotion, and a carefully crafted musical narrative.
He began his journey as a DJ in 2019 and transitioned into production in 2023, training at Arjaus and developing a clear, elegant, and atmospheric artistic identity. His growth within the scene has been rapid and sustained, establishing him as one of the most solid emerging names in the Argentine progressive circuit.

As an artist, he has received support from key figures in the scene such as Hernán Cattáneo, Nick Warren, Guy Mantzur, Sahar Z, Simon Vuarambon, and Kevin di Serna, among many other genre leaders. Throughout his career, he has released music on over 15 record labels worldwide, most notably on The Soundgarden (Nick Warren's label) and Plattenbank (Guy Mantzur's label)—two of the most respected imprints in progressive and melodic house.

Behind the decks, Matías crafts hypnotic, progressive, and emotional sets, prioritizing the musical journey, narrative coherence, and a connection with the dance floor. His approach relies on a blend of technical skill, artistic sensibility, and a constant quest for a unique sonic identity.
