I had this sketch saved for quite a while, and I finally got to finish it 🌸✨
It’s a mixed-media illustration inspired by Colombia’s Feria de las Flores—a festival I love because it celebrates not only the beauty of flowers but also the resilience, strength, and spirit of our people and our culture 💐🇨🇴

After coming to the US to do my Master’s, searching for my artistic voice, building a portfolio, sending queries, and looking for the right agency... today I’m beyond happy to share that I’m now represented by Charlotte Weger @cjb.131 at Prospect Agency @prospectagency ✨✨

Charlotte has been so kind and supportive from day one. Since our first conversation, her feedback, advice, beautiful energy, and her excitement for my work and my ideas told me this was exactly what I was looking for.

I’m so excited to start this new journey as an author-illustrator, working with an agent who is so passionate about the world of children’s books ✨

Thank you, Charlotte, for believing in me. Can’t wait to see what we create together. ✨📚🫶

I started a new month in a new city, with an internship and a new home, away from family, friends and the love of my life. 🥺

Some days feel lonely, while others are filled with new experiences, incredible people, and little moments that remind me how much there is still to discover.

I’m learning to enjoy my own company, adapt to unfamiliar places and routines, and find comfort in the unknown (so hard btw)

Lately, life has felt like an invitation to be more present with myself, while also reminding me to cherish the people and moments we so often take for granted.🥹✨ by @matiba.ilu
