Join us for this month’s HJ Creative Nights, a welcoming space where young people, families, and creatives come together to explore art, faith, culture, and authentic self expression.

This month’s theme is Fashion. Together, we’ll discover how clothing, personal style, and presentation can be powerful forms of creativity that reflect confidence, identity, purpose, and our unique God-given beauty. We’ll also have meaningful conversations about how fashion can communicate who we are while inspiring and uplifting those around us.

We’re especially excited to welcome Yun-A Johnson, founder of Your Aesthetic Style (YAS) and a personal style consultant whose work helps people discover confidence through authentic self expression. Rather than focusing on fast-changing trends, Yun-A encourages people to embrace a style that reflects who they are from the inside out. During the evening, she’ll share insights from her own journey and lead an engaging, hands-on activity that invites everyone to explore fashion in a fun, interactive, and meaningful way.

Whether you love styling outfits, designing clothing, following fashion trends, photography, modeling, creating mood boards, or simply enjoy learning about fashion and self expression, there’s something here for you. Come ready to connect with others, discover new ideas, and celebrate the beauty of creativity in a supportive and inspiring community.

🎨✨ Meet Our Watercolor Facilitator – Minobu Sato Joo

Minobu has been part of the NJFC community for over 15 years and currently serves as a Northeast Coordinator for Ocean Tribe. She holds a BFA from Boston University and has worked as both a mural artist and online art seller.

Her signature style blends ink and watercolor, and she loves showing how simple and approachable watercolor can be. She’ll share a short demo of her creative process.
