Hey! Looking for something to do on the 14th? Come watch me sing in my first big concert with Vancouver Youth Choir at our “All Is Bright” show at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Vancouver!
The concert starts at 7:30 PM - I’m so exited to be singing in a big choir such as this one! I hope to see you there!
.
The ensemble I’m in only performs in the evening! Not matinee.
.
Link to buy tickets will be in my bio and here: https://vancouveryouthchoir.com/

Note to self: drink water before belting a song with little time to breathe at a recital😭. Song number 2 from last night, “You’ll Be Back” from the musical “Hamilton.” I also got the opportunity to see this magnificent musical in NYC in the second row to boot! I’ve always loved this song ever since I heard it. If you told grade 9 me that I would be singing this song 3 years later he woulda thought you were delusional lol. Again thank you to Tim Burns for helping me practice this song and I hope those who were sitting in Tim’s office enjoyed the occasional voice cracks and cursing through the vents😆.

“I don’t care much” from the musical “Cabaret.” I went to go see this wonderful musical in NYC with my wonderful cousin at the @kitkatclubnyc back in January. I absolutely fell in love with this song decided to sing it for my next vocal recital. I worked with Tim Burns and blended both the Adam Lambert and Alan cumming versions together. This is the result! Hope you enjoy and I hope those who were there enjoyed! The end of the song was so fun to do😊.

For the past few months, me and @salahoola have been doing vocal lessons with Mr. Tim burns to expand our musical knowledge outside of a choir setting. This was one song we did last December! (We did a little dancey dance at the end). If you liked this and want to come watch us perform, we perform at the next band concerts in March! Hope to see you there!❤️💚❤️ taken in Maple Ridge Secondary School by @matoos0702

Sorry for the bad video quality🫣. Some clips from MRSS Choir’s “Merry and Bright (the sequel)” concert that happened in December! I’ve got a few solos sprinkled in these clips along with some amazing pieces that were so fun to learn. Thank you as always @msclaireoliverio for directing and putting this all together for 4 sold out shows! Hope you enjoy! taken in Maple Ridge Secondary School by @matoos0702

New York has gotta be by far one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had in my life. I’m pretty sure my cousin @bigpal_al is one of the coolest cousins to exist ever because she took me to New York 2 weeks ago for Christmas along with the fact that I got to see Hamilton AND Cabaret with Adam Lambert and Auli’i Cravalho in it with her!! Love you so much Alicia ❤️. Mark my words New York, I will be back😳🗽 taken in New York City by @matoos0702
