While working full time, along with training clients, has been full on another thing that made last year even more challenging was sorting products I purchased from a business that went into liquidation the previous year. This was something I committed to as I had no more gym equipment left to buy and wanted to help my clients and others by selling affordable lifting gear, which can be quite expensive and hard to buy with today's cost of living (overseas frieght and taxes etc). Initially, I thought this would just be a few items, but was not the case and subsequently had the challenge organising all the items that came in over 100 packing boxes and then transporting the majority of my stuff to a storage shed. Therefore, for anyone needing lifing gear for 2026, please don't be afraid to reach out. Since I purchased stock from a liquidator, I do not have all colours and/or sizes of specific items and did get limited pieces of certain more popular items/sizes. Majority of my stock is A7 brand, along with some Loaded Lifting items. There is no SBD stuff, so any messages about SBD will be ignored. The items I have stock of include: Soft Suits Wrist Wraps Knee Sleeves Knee Wraps Elbow Sleeves Deadlift Socks T Shirts Belts Soft Velcro Belts Liquid Chalk Barbell Collars Squat/lifitng Shoes Short Bands Strongman Tacky Being liquidated stock, once this sells, there won't be any more stuff coming in. Anyone based outside of the South East Queensland area, I can post Australia wide at buyers' expense, whereby I will be doing post office runs every Tuesday and Friday. I will be listing items on this page in the coming days/weeks but any further questions, please reach out. by @matrinosmasterplan
Huge congrats to Des for winning APL nationals for a third year in a row where she secured a huge 567.5kg total which is the biggest female total in APL history. Des had a perfect day and did not miss a single attempt and walked away with PBs across all three lifts and increased her comp total PB by 35kg! The highlight of the day was Des hitting a huge 235kg deadlift which was needed to secure the win by a narrow margin of 2.5kg. This year has not been an easy year for Des. She was not able to get every session done each week. Nevertheless, we were able to make plans around this and the sessions Des got done were always executed with intent. This subsequently allowed Des to have irrefutably her best comp performance to date. Final results Sqaut: 215kg (+4.5kg PB) Bench: 117.5kg (+2.5kg PB) Deadlift: 235kg (+15kg PB) Total: 567.5kg (1st place) #letsgochamp by @matrinosmasterplan
Michael competed in his first Nationals where he finished 4th out of 30 competitors in a very stacked U90 class and was fighting for 2nd until the final deadlift. This comp was definitely not Mike's best comp but we were still able to take away lots of positives from the day and the highlight of the day was Mike's persistence to keep pushing even when things continually kept not going his way. Mike was eventually rewarded with this persistence with a 285kg comp PB deadlift. We had a plan to go for the win. Initial squat warm ups went well, but energy for the top end singles just wasn't there and as the day progressed it became clear that he was unable to run on all 8 cylinders. The planners have been using the famous Shannon Briggs phrase "anything you do, I do." Unfortunately this may have gotten taken too far where one by one, three of my planners got hospitalised with the flu 4 weeks out from comp. Even with this setback Mike and I agreed that we still wanted to go for the win, thus I have no regerts with our attempt choices. At the end of the day you can set a big total at any comp, while you only have one chance per year to win Nationals. We will be back next year. Squat: 270kg Bench: 152.5kg Deadlift: 285kg (+7.5kg) Total: 707.5kg (4th place) #letsgochamp by @matrinosmasterplan

My best competition to date, and I couldn’t be happier. Today was emotional in so many ways, and I’m feeling incredibly grateful and blessed. 🙏🏽❤️ 3 YEARS CHAMPION! 🥇 All the glory goes to You, Lord. Thank You for giving me strength and a warrior spirit. 🙏🏽❤️ I’m so grateful for my coach today for all the planning that goes into this, and especially for my partner for handling me throughout the comp. You both kept me sharp, laser-focused and ready to go when it mattered most. ❤️ A massive thank you to all the helpers and spotters who worked tirelessly throughout the competition to keep us safe. Your support, focus and dedication are deeply appreciated. ❤️🙏🏽 I got to share the platform with greatness — good friends, familiar faces, some strong big dawgs and the upcoming new gens! 💪🏽🔥 What an atmosphere to be part of. APL, thank you for putting on another amazing Nationals! 🎉🎉💙 A massive THANK YOU to everyone who donated to my GoFundMe fundraiser. Your support helped make it possible for me to get this far and travel to Melbourne to compete. I appreciate every single one of you. ❤️🙏🏽 And a huge shoutout to my Meauta family for having our babies and taking such great care of them while Mum and Dad were away in Melbourne. Knowing our babies were loved and looked after meant everything to us. ❤️ This prep had its ups and downs, and there was so much happening outside of lifting, which makes today mean even more. 3 COMP PBs. 235KG NATIONAL RECORD. 35KG TOTAL PB. 567.5KG TOTAL. MY BEST COMP YET. 🏆🔥 Feeling emotional, grateful, proud and so incredibly blessed. ❤️🙏🏽 by @matrinosmasterplan
Two more planners compete this weekend at Nationals. Have they had a perfect prep? Not at all, but truth be told 99% of people wouldn't of had a perfect prep leading into this comp. Nevertheless both have trained very hard and diligently for this comp and both have also done an excellent job making sure they do everything right outside the gym, as that is actually more important than what you do in the gym. With that being said both planners should be competitive for a podium finish this weekend, where they are both in very stacked weight classes. For anyone keen to watch there will be a livestream link available and the scheduled is: Mike: Saturday 1:30pm Des: Sunday 8am #letsgochamp by @matrinosmasterplan
It's been a while since posts, but some planners have competed recently and were able to walk away with some big PBs Emily competed a few weeks ago and had her best comp to date, hitting a huge 10kg squat PB, for her first ever 100kg squat and locked out a 125kg Deadlift, which was 12.5kg heavier than anything touched in the prep for this comp. Paul did his first comp last month and hit his goal of getting a 600kg total and achieved significant PBs across all three lifts, which included a 25kg PB for both his sqaut and Deadlift Anton competed last month in his first comp and successfully hit his goal of a 500kg total with an impressive 520kg. This was a 105kg increase total since becoming a planner at the start of the year More planners are competing next weekend at Nationals, so stay tuned by @matrinosmasterplan
All part of the Plan. by @matrinosmasterplan
Last weekend, two of my planners competed in their first comp of the year and walked away with some big results. @_michael.rayner_ had already secured a total to qualify for APL nationals later this year, but wasn't happy with a sub 700kg total. Nevertheless, at this comp, he was able to secure a 25kg total PB and hit a 715kg total at U90kg, thus positioning himself as a true contender at Nationals later this year. Highlight of the day was a comfy 280.5kg squat, which was a new APL national record. @xx_dmeauta_xx also had a great day securing National Records in the sqaut 210.5kg (forcing me to shout KFC) and bench press 115kg. Some lower back issues at the start of prep put us on the back foot a little for deadlifts, but Des was still keen to give 225kg a try for her second attempt, which was something I was not keen on considering the opener was a conservative 205kg, but having done what we needed to qualify for Nationals I was okay with a bit of FAFO here. Des overall looks in a great position to defend her National title this year with a 550+kg total. Big thanks to @storiestrong for a great comp, and I look forward to taking more planners here later this year. by @matrinosmasterplan

This weekend, two planners @_michael.rayner_ and @xx_dmeauta_xx will take on their first comp of the year @storiestrong Both have had an excellent prep and are on track to hit some significant PBs along with hitting a 450+ DOTS score, which would put them with some elite company. For anyone keen to watch, lifting starts at 9am. by @matrinosmasterplan
