My favorite shot from the last few months. Took this during a 90% partial solar eclipse in Austria back in August. We were joking about jumping during the eclipse that day and then suddenly we were doing it. The light was insane and beautiful but also very difficult to choose settings for my camera. I was pretty stoked with how it turned out, especially seeing the eclipse in the lens flares 🤩
Turned out to be the most memorable jump of the trip. Mostly because this was the most excited I’ve ever seen Matt after a jump 😜🖤

The photo is a special jump to me. Last year, when we lost our teammate, Brandon Schmidt, he had been planning to take his son for his first jump just later that year. I was able to take his son, Jordan, on his first jump, and he was able to taste why his father loved it so much. Now next February, though Leaps of Hope, were going to get Jordan his A- License.

Leaps of Hope is a community that helps veterans, first responders, victims of child abuse and gold star children. All donations go towards sponsoring individuals like Jordan, to either make their first tandem skydive or to help those who wish to get their A-License. If you can, consider donating just the cost of a jump ticket. It’s a small step towards helping others experience what we sometimes can’t put into words. by @matt.leonard_

WINTERFEST LO: @matt.leonard_

Skydive City Zhills, Dec 30-Jan 3

Matt is a man of many talents, but especially thrives when it comes to flying a tiny canopy. With over 9,000 jumps and as the founder/owner of Momentum, he knows a thing or two about flocking (and every other aspect of skydiving). No matter the discipline or skill level, Matt is an amazing person to come share the sky with this New Years at Winterfest! by @matt.leonard_

I‘m super grateful for all the time I‘ve gotten lately to work on camera flying. It‘s been so much fun getting better and flying with awesome people that push me to get better.

First half of the year has been pretty full on with travel. But the company always makes it work it. Here are some of the more memorable or fun moments so far. Excited for more to come.
