If @on asked me to shoot their campaign, here’s how I’d do it…

I couldn’t remember the last time I’d really pushed myself creatively - like truly and wholly, with my own ideas, doing exactly what I wanted to do. I made a real effort to do that with this shoot, and I think it shows. Things went up a notch and I want to carry that momentum forward into the end of the year.

Anyway, I hope you guys like these images too. We always want people to love our work as much as we do, but art is subjective, I’m happy and anything else is a bonus. I broke down this shoot over two recent episodes on our podcast if anyone is interested 🤝🏼

As always, work you’re this proud of doesn’t happen without a great team:

Well shooting the iconic Lloyds horse wasn’t on my bingo card for this year, even better when it’s in collaboration with your favourite sport. Shot for England Rugby & Lloyds Bank.

Huge thanks to all the team involved. Special thanks to @svg1987 & @ryanevanstv @we.are.club

Limit Finder

A personal photography project featuring @lucydavis

One thing I’m passionate about capturing is athletes pushing themselves to the upper echelons of performance, you get things happen that can’t be directed and as someone who’s passionate about sport and studied exercise science it’s always a joy to watch athletes perform at these levels.

I’d been wanting to do capture a VO2 Max test and blood lactate test for a while in a physiology lab, putting my own spin on it and trying to capture it in my own way. I pitched the idea to Lucy and she was keen to take part and find her limit, so we made it happen earlier this week.

For those that don’t know a VO2 max is essentially run until you can run no more, every minute the treadmill gets faster and faster. Max heart rates were found, VO2 Max scores are in, I don’t envy anyone having to do these tests, but it did feel nice being back in a sports science lab again for the first time in 8 years. I will be doing a YouTube video breaking down this shoot so keep your eyes peeled for that!

Huge shout to @nvperformance__ for having us and letting me turn your science lab into a studio. Another big shout to @christopher_parsons_ for assisting me and helping me bring my vision to life 🫶🏼
