Like the flyer says, we will be hosting one last musical show down of some local talent and we hope you can make it. by @matt_brunson
URGENT - I'm still looking for a home for these sweet babies. I took them in about 4 months ago, when the mother starting giving birth on my front porch. 12hrs and one surgery later, and they were all safe and healthy. Unfortunately, I don't have the space or resources to give them their best lives, and they are in need of a forever home. The kittens, Dipper and Mabel, have bonded well as a pair, so they will be staying together. They would do great as someone's first kittens, or as part of a larger pack. Oscar, the mother, is very affectionate and playful, but she seems to have some anxiety being around other cats for long periods. She would do best as a solo cat, or somewhere she is free to come and go when she wants to. Mama and kittens are available in the East Texas and DFW area. They will be vaccinated before being homed. Please repost and share with your friends! DM me for questions. Interviews will be mandatory for all serious inquiries. If you want to read their full story or donate to help cover their expenses, the 🔗 is in my profile. #catofinstagram #rescuecat #kittens #catlover #catlife #petsofinstagram #rescuesofinstagram by @matt_brunson

Information is accidental, story is purposeful I'm using "accidental" here in the philosophical sense -- the descriptive details or qualities of a thing are its accidents But that's just information; what it does and what it *means* are the realm of story Story is journey, action, movement, emotion And that's true whether you're working with fiction or nonfiction Don't just give a summary of events in your life, be vulnerable Don't just push your characters through a setting, give them joy and loss and hope and risk Story is about meaning and transformation If it doesn't have those, it's just information #writingtips #writingcommunity #creativewriting #writing #writersofinstagram #writer #story by @matt_brunson
Author Alchemy is on the shelf indefinitely It's been exhausting trying to figure out what I really want to do, feeling like I have to attempt looking put together and "professional" Trying to integrate a huge range of advice, a lot of it conflicting and none of it that actually resonates or feels like me I feel like these buds, anxious to grow but stuck in ice, frozen, looking out to the world I want to show up in but not sure how to get there I'm not sure what's next or what I'll be sharing here But I know I'm ready to bloom by @matt_brunson
Let's talk narrative 📖 Narrative is everything when it comes to engaging with the world around you It's the difference between information and an EXPERIENCE 🎞 It's the difference between reading a Wikipedia summary and actually watching a movie 🥂 It's the difference between swiping on a profile and actually going on a date, having a conversation Narrative is about connecting with FEELING and JOURNEY So if you're a coach or a creator, ask yourself: ❤️ Am I just pushing facts and knowledge, or am I tapping into *emotion*? 🚶‍♂️Am I just reciting information, or am I *guiding* someone on a journey? Narrative isn't just for fiction Books, courses, speeches, frameworks, methods... It's all an opportunity for narrative What story are you creating? 🔮 DM me "Alchemy" for help with getting your narrative unstuck #creativity #narrative #bookcoach #bookwriting #authoralchemy #book #writingcommunity #writing #story #storytelling by @matt_brunson
