which one was taken on a Sony and which one was taken on a 1950s Mamiyaflex TLR?

Loved doing this wedding for Erin & TJ early this summer. They loved the idea of using some vintage cameras for their wedding and I was so excited at the opportunity. I’ll be sharing some more of these for sure. 📸🎞️ taken in DeKalb History Center by @mattagarr

Some client favorites (in 4:5). I tried for about 35 minutes to try to get an application that would let me make these into a carousel, but let me tell ya. Graphic design is not my passion. All of these social apps really drive me nuts. But I’m glad to have captured some good moments for people. Another post will be posted shortly with some of my favorite client 16:9 photos. Thanks to the new followers and new clients this year. taken in Atlanta, Georgia by @mattagarr

atlanta doesn't get the credit it deserves for putting out some of the best bands. support the scene even if there aren't shows going on! and be safe so we can get back to live music asap.⠀

spent the fall shooting a lot of weddings and elopements in and around Atlanta. to think three years ago I was just touching a camera for the first time is absurd to think about. so many strangers have invited me in to the most intimate and emotional moments of their lives. covid has made many things change, but my love of capturing powerful moments has not. thank you Kimberly and Kent for inviting me to your ceremony.

I first met @itsmaggieschneider because the brother of the bassist in a band I was filling in (@giraffeneckkillah) was telling me about how fun and cool the band he was playing in was and how I should come see them sometime. It was January 19, 2019 in Little Five. I just bought my Diana F+ and wanted to play with it. Since then, I watched Maggie turn into a viral tik tok star, watched her and the band play in front of tons of people, talked about how much we loved The Band Camino, and how wild our world is. I’ve had the pleasure of being able to have her and her friends in front of my camera lens for the last year and a half.

When she contacted me a few months ago asking if I could be a part of this big change and shoot the promotional photos, I was so excited. I had so many ideas and I couldn’t wait to meet the rest of the team, and I couldn’t wait to announce it. It was a long day of shooting, and it was a long couple days of editing, but when it was done, I was ecstatic.

Meeting everyone in the band and getting to talk with them was pure bliss, especially after being cooped up indoors for COVID stuff as long as we all have been.

Welcome, @glimmersband. Excited to be a part of your journey.

@abandcalledlove is @ryanchandlerlove and @ianjoshuariley and that’s all you need to know to listen to it.

About a month ago, my friend Ian messaged me and asked if I could give his new project some feedback. He sent me a song called Colors Bloom.

I rarely get excited for new music. After attending well over 1,000 concerts, and spending approximately 1/4th of my entire life listening to music, it’s rare that something really catches my ear.
Colors Bloom immediately got me.

Check mattagarr.com/blog for my article and high res photoshoot for what will be your new favorite band.
