@nisi_south_africa recently gave me the opportunity to test out their JetMag Pro VND system and it’s been a blast.

Definitely appreciate the time I’ll save going forward with the magnetic adapter ring system along with a bayonet safety lock system which ensures the filters will never accidentally fall off (a concern I’ve always had about other magnetic filter systems).

I got to try out their 1-5 stop VND along with a FSND allowing my to get up to 9 stops of ND when needed, along with a 1/8 black mist filter which I practically never shoot without.

All in all, 10/10 and these now have a permanent spot on my camera case.

Are photographers more important than videographers at weddings? It feels like this industry has always valued the role of a photographer more at a wedding. With the global shift towards video, is this something you see changing? Or should it? @gustavfrankecinematography gives his take as a wedding video specialist. by @mattalexander2

Why the Sony A7IV is the MVP for solo creators 😮‍💨📸

All about reels 📱

Nowadays most of what I shoot is vertical content for mobile first consumption.
Struggled for a while to get stable shots without rigging up a gimbal. Enjoying shooting handheld more at the moment. What has helped is a heavier setup with a wider handle set (the quick release ones from @falcam_official are great as I can transition the setup from vertical to horizontal in less than a minute)

I also like being able to zoom quickly so I can get different shots without changing lenses. 24-70 is a go to, and I often use the APSC crop mode on my A7IV via a shortcut button to quickly get some extra range (basically like a 105mm then) by @mattalexander2
