The power of art is able to build a bridge, tear down a wall, move one to laughter, and spark a call - this is my experience with getting to know Rosie West over the years through her works. Within her brush & pen, Westie conjures a hypnotic, tamed chaotic, playful antibiotic to the serious world.Stop by her one woman exhibition, currently on view at Studio1.1 in East London during April 2025 to catch a glimpse into her artist’s mind & perspective of the world observed as only a true sister of the brush could where rabbits haunt, hump, and sit plumply plush anticipating play in the child’s realm. Her decisive strokes capture the temporary mask of what lies beyond the saccharine and sinister emerging sanguine and vivid - a fleeting moment where the eye may rest transported & playful. Meet our Vincent Van Gogh/Dr. Gachet ENGLISH IVY (HEDERA HELIX). The Artist Plant Conservatory acquired this plant in 2023 from the Vincent Van Gogh House Museum. Brabant, NL. Dr. Gachet was a homeopath, artist & friend to Vincent Van Gogh who took care of Vincent in the final months of the artist’s lifeat his house in Auvers-Sur-Oise just outside Paris.Van Gogh painted in Dr. Gachet’s Garden.
