Hi friends, Today I released a new worship song called “O The Greatness” with my friend Matt Coss.

What’s crazy about releasing this song is that this is the first song I recorded the vocals on since being diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. Specifically, the Wednesday afternoon I was scheduled to record vocals for this song (back in February), was the Wednesday afternoon I ended up in the hospital when all this started. So, it’s taken a bit to finish up this song and get it to the finish line. Truthfully, I didn’t have the energy to record, or promote this a whole bunch.

To say that releasing this song is a milestone for me, is an understatement. This is a song that I really wanted to get out there, not just because I wrote it a few years ago, and then finished the song with Matt last year, but because it was proving - “I’m going to get through this season, and get back to doing what God created me to do.”

This song is an anthem that captures the two things I have been leaning on most during this season - that God is majestic, all powerful, “stands above creation,” “time is measured in His hands,” - and yet, He speaks tenderly to us, and He gazes upon us. Lyrics in the song, but also the lyrics I wrote years ago that have helped me through this difficult season.

To listen - just comment “Listen” and I’ll send you the link. Blessings! taken in Beaumont, Texas by @mattcoss

A prayer for a hard season: when prayers aren’t answered or trials keep coming… Lord, be my daily bread and not my version of provision.

THANKS TO ALL for listening and loving this new song that’s meant so much to us. Written in wilderness. Released in promise. Ministering to so many 😭 we’re amazed. Maranatha!
