A Moment of truth…
Last week, someone told me they viewed me as successful.
Despite my own accomplishments I still have yet to view myself as such. For me, I never wanted the instant gratification, it’s just not what I strive for; nor do I care for the accolades or the material things, I barely even value the recognition anymore.
Because I’ve learned it’s not how anyone else sees me it’s how I see myself what matters the most.
One can say I am successful because I have a loyal
Clientele that’s I built from the ground up. I AM PROUD IF THAT, ABSOLUTELY! Because I believe anyone who has any goal they set out to accomplish and they achieve it or exceed they’re own expectations of that specific goal… then they are indeed successful no matter how big or how small the objective. However? that’s just the surface level.

I STRIVE FOR PURPOSE, and I’ve found mine🙏🏾
And it’s not just cutting hair, it’s Impact.
And I won’t deem myself successful until I feel satisfied with the impact I have left on this society and this world as a whole. ( but I’m thankful for the compliment 🙏🏾)

Discipline is:
Early mornings
Late nights
Cleaning your station when you’re exhausted
SHOWING UP EVERYDAY, not only for your clients but for yourself…

No shortcuts. Just work.

Look at his face. Thinking. Waiting, to feel like himself again. That’s the power of a haircut.
But, in this chair they don’t just get a fade…they get to be seen and reminded they matter. As barbers we restore confidence!

This is why I started COMMUNITY CUTS Initiative. Not for the clout, for the culture. One kid at a time,

NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND

This is ministry 💈🙏🏾
