ALL ROADS LEAD TO HE WHO REMAINS. The Mobius strip proves the whole Multiverse is an infinite loop yet the Avengers' Time Heist was never the anomaly. It was supposed to happen. Steve Rogers and Loki gave free will to the dark branches, and that was the plan all along. Battleworld? Built from the fragmented remnants of dead realities, and when it falls, the Multiverse is reborn. That castle never felt like Kang's because it's Doctor Doom's, torn apart after the Sacred Timeline formed, now occupied by He Who Remains himself. The tech between Doom and Kang is identical the Council's time machine in Quantumania is straight from Doom's comics, just like OB and Victor Timely an Ouroboros No one knows who invented it. It's just... there. Doom will steal the TVA's playbook, but with brainwashing not just hunters and workers, but all of Battleworld, bound by the Runes of Kof-Kol. Then He Who Remains takes the idea from Doom: a timeline that doesn't even know he exists. Every mistake Doom makes? He Who Remains avoids using Doom's own tech. And the masterstroke? He manipulated Loki so he'd never have to face Doom or the Multiversal War because everyone will blame Loki's free will as the real culprit. It's a loop. It's a cycle. It's He Who Remains, forever.

THE BRANCHING REALITY

"What if the Avengers were never the heroesbut the catalyst for a Multiversal War? Let's break it down. The Ancient One told Bruce that removing an Infinity Stone creates a dark branch. But the Stones don't create timethey support it. When the Avengers traveled into their own past to steal the Stones, they created too many branches, overloading the TVA.

That wasn't an accidentit was He Who Remains' script all along. He manipulated Loki into killing him, knowing Loki would keep those branches alive, become omnipotent, and unintentionally spark a Multiversal War.

Meanwhile, Captain America, Bruce, and the Ancient One were all wrong they thought returning the Stones would fix everything. But Loki is the ultimate reason the Avengers are now trapped on a Möbius strip of their own making. And the real culprit? The real savior?

It's Tony Stark. But that's a theory for another day. Are the Avengers doomed to repeat the loop forever? Or will someone finally break the cycle? Drop your thoughts below.

THE CULPRIT AND THE SAVIOUR - IRONMAN

The Time Travel Theory

The Avengers didn't just build a time machine they built an inverted Möbius strip, a topological loop designed not to branch time, but to stretch it. Unlike conventional time travel, which crumbles under the weight of the Grandfather Paradox, the Möbius design allows the Sacred Timeline to bend without breaking twisting reality just enough to absorb interference without fracturing into chaos. That's why He Who Remains allowed the Time Heist to happen. He wanted Tony to walk that path. He needed Steve to return the Stones. Because every step was already written into the loop.

But then came Loki and the loop broke. His escape in 2012 created dark branches that were never pruned, branches that Bruce Banner promised the Ancient One would be erased. They weren't. And from those unpruned timelines, every possibility born from the Avengers' meddling now festers waiting to converge. Waiting for Doomsday.

And here's the real twist: Tony Stark's death isn't a tragedy it's a release. His survival would have kept the Sacred Timeline frozen, a single thread in an endless knot. His sacrifice? That's what frees the Multiverse. That's what allows Doctor Doom to emerge not as a villain, but as a variant, possibly even Tony's own grandfather, born from the very mistake Loki left behind.

So no, Endgame wasn't about victory. It was about closure, causality, and the terrifying cost of linear thinking in a non-linear universe. The Möbius strip didn't save the Avengers. It saved everything else by ensuring Tony's death would matter more than his life ever could.

The TVA pruned a trolley full of Infinity Stones into the Void, which is actually the old Battleworld, with no magic dampeners. That means those Stones are still fully charged somewhere, waiting to be found in Avengers: Secret Wars by either Doctor Doom or a hero.

Inside the TVA office, Loki is stunned to discover that Infinity Stones are being used as paperweights. Casey follows him with the same trolley full of Stones. Then Hunter B-15 arrives and tries to prune Loki, almost prunes Casey instead, and ends up pruning the trolley full of Infinity Stones.

The key detail: pruning does not destroy. It sends things to the Void. As Renslayer explains, when the TVA prunes a branched reality, it cannot destroy all its matter. It can only transfer it to the Void, a wasteland at the end of time where nothing can continue to grow. So that trolley wasn't destroyed. It was transported to the Void.

The Void itself is the TVA's trashcan. Everything pruned gets dumped there, from the ruins of Avengers Tower to Thanos's helicopter, all consumed by Alioth, a living storm that devours matter and energy. But here's the crucial point: the Void has no magic dampeners. Inside the TVA, magic doesn't work, which is why the Stones are paperweights. But in the Void, those Stones would be fully charged again.

This directly sets up According to reports, Doctor Doom's goal is to stop the incursions destroying the Multiverse. His logic is that "the only way to ensure survival is to unify all universes in one place under his rule." The Russo Brothers hinted in their foreword to Avengers: Time Runs Out that Doom believes "he can save everything if he controls enough of it." But his ultimate failure comes from "the slow erosion of trust among people who care deeply and still cannot prevent the fall." If Doom builds Battleworld, a patchwork planet made from the remnants of destroyed realities, then that trolley full of Infinity Stones from the Void becomes an uncontrollable variable in his plan, because the Stones' power operates independently of whatever godlike abilities he steals from Loki or the Beyonders.

PAPERWEIGHTS OR FLOW OF TIME

The TVA paperweights and the Ancient One's flow of time statement represent two competing explanations of the Infinity Stones' true nature, and reconciling them reveals the MCU's deeper cosmological structure. The Ancient One told Bruce Banner that the Infinity Stones "create what you experience as the flow of time," warning that removing one would cause that flow to split into branches. But in Loki, the TVA uses Infinity Stones as paperweights inert trinkets in a drawer, stripped of all power. If the Stones literally created time itself, this would be a paradox: the TVA exists outside time, uses Stones as decorative objects, and yet time still flows. The resolution is that the Ancient One was right and wrong at the same time. She was right that the Stones stabilize a reality's timeline they are load-bearing pillars of that universe's metaphysical architecture, and removing one causes the reality to fracture into branches. She was wrong that they create the flow of time itself. The flow of time is a multiversal phenomenon that predates and transcends any single universe's Stones. The TVA operates on a level above individual universes: its Temporal Loom "refines raw time into physical timeline," and He Who Remains built dampeners and security protocols as O.B. revealed that neutralize magic and Infinity Stones upon entry. This is why the Stones become paperweights: the TVA exists outside all realities, so the Stones have no domain to govern. Furthermore, every time the TVA prunes a branch reality, the Stones from that reality become inert remnants collectible trinkets which is why Casey has a drawer full of them. The Sacred Timeline is not created by the Stones; it is maintained by the TVA's technology, with the Stones serving as local infrastructure within each reality.

What if DOOM saves RAVONNA RENSLAYER right before ALIOTH eats her in the VOID?! Think about it — Renslayer was HE WHO REMAINS' original commander in the MULTIVERSAL WAR. She knows EVERYTHING about the TVA, the SACRED TIMELINE, KANG VARIANTS, and the CITADEL AT THE END OF TIME. Her death was NEVER shown on screen the Loki writers LEFT IT OPEN ON PURPOSE.

Now here's where it gets CRAZY. Doom's TIME PLATFORM can travel through time WITHOUT creating branches. He pulls Renslayer out of the VOID, and she gives him ALL THE SECRETS — TVA protocols, pruning mechanisms, Kang's weaknesses, EVERYTHING.

But the REAL weapon? MISS MINUTES. She LOVED Kang, he REJECTED her, and she already BETRAYED him once. She has ROOT-LEVEL ACCESS to the entire TVA system. Renslayer + Miss Minutes + DOOM = the ultimate REVENGE TRIO.

This is how KANG FALLS. Not in a fight — but because the AI he created, the commander he betrayed, and the genius who learned EVERY SECRET they held turn his own system against him. DOOM doesn't just beat Kang — he REPROGRAMS REALITY ITSELF.

Loki Season 2 left Renslayer ALIVE in the Void. Doomsday is coming. SECRET WARS is coming. And DOOM is coming for the TVA.

TONY STARK WAS ADOPTED THEORY

Tony Stark is ADOPTED, and the clues were hiding in plain sight all along. In the Iron Man 3 post-credits scene, Tony tells Bruce Banner that back in 1983, when he was just 14 years old, he had "many" and if that math is right, Tony was born in 1968 or 1969. But here's where it gets WILD: in the Endgame elevator scene, Tony looks genuinely confused when he sees Howard Stark and mentions Maria Stark because if Maria was pregnant with Tony around 1970, the timeline lines up perfectly with Howard's own words in Endgame about his son being born. But if Tony was 14 in 1983, then he was born in 1968-69 meaning Maria Stark couldn't have been pregnant at the time Howard described. So who are Tony's real parents? Is Howard Stark even his biological father? Was Tony adopted? Did Maria Stark have a miscarriage or was there a cover-up? The MCU timeline, Marvel Easter eggs, Endgame time travel, Iron Man 3 post-credits, Howard Stark, Maria Stark, Tony Stark origin, adoption theory, MCU conspiracy, Marvel fan theory this one connects EVERYTHING. Is Tony Stark adopted? Did Marvel hide this for 15 years? Drop your theory below

What if “Hell answers to me” is actually the biggest clue to Doctor Doom’s entire story? In Marvel Comics, Cynthia von Doom, Doom’s mother, has a deep connection to Mephisto, Hell and the battle for her soul, especially in Doctor Strange and Doctor Doom: Triumph and Torment. If the MCU has already adapted or completed Doom’s Cynthia von Doom and Mephisto arc before Avengers: Doomsday, then Doom saying “Hell answers to me” could mean that he has already conquered, defeated or gained authority over Mephisto and Hell. Then comes Secret Wars and Battleworld. After the multiversal collapse, incursions and Beyonders, Doom could become the ruler of Battleworld, while Mephisto sees Battleworld’s countless survivors and souls as the ultimate opportunity to gain supernatural power through soul deals, bargains and manipulation. This could bring Ghost Rider, Zarathos, Hell, Mephisto and the supernatural side of Marvel directly into Battleworld, especially since the comics already gave us Ghost Racers during Secret Wars. Meanwhile, Ironheart, Riri Williams, The Hood, Parker Robbins and Mephisto could establish the supernatural storyline before Secret Wars. The real twist could be that Doom created Battleworld, Mephisto wants to exploit its souls, Ghost Rider refuses to serve Mephisto, and Doom sees Mephisto’s actions as a challenge to his authority. Doctor Doom, Mephisto, Cynthia von Doom, Ghost Rider, Zarathos, Hell, Ironheart, Battleworld, Secret Wars, Beyonders, God Emperor Doom, Avengers Doomsday and Avengers Secret Wars could all be pieces of one massive MCU storyline.

The Loki-as-Beyonder theory posits that Loki, the God of Stories, now functions as the MCU's equivalent of the Beyonder an omnipotent cosmic anchor holding the Multiverse together outside of time. Having been manipulated by He Who Remains, Loki embraced his glorious purpose, sacrificing himself to become the living Yggdrasil, weaving free will into every branch while knowing Doom will eventually come to kill him and steal his power.

This preordained death, however, is part of the masterclass: Loki's time-slipping and temporal manipulation allow him to orchestrate events even beyond death, ensuring Battleworld's heroes Tobey's Spider-Man as the secret Beyonder, Tom with the Runes of Kof-Kol, Andrew with a symbiote, Wolverine, and a Reed variant retain memories of life before the Sacred Timeline's collapse.

Meanwhile, Steve's fate tied to Earth-828, Peggy's paradox, Mobius' pause, and the incursion acceleration caused by Doom's inevitable betrayal all converge. The Beyonder's Spider-Man, a hidden cosmic variable, becomes the key to assembling a team outside of time a narrative failsafe designed to defeat Doom and his army at the end of Secret Wars, proving that even in death, Loki remains the ultimate puppet master, manipulating the Multiverse toward its only possible salvation.

What if the death of Tony Stark was never just a heroic sacrifice, but a carefully orchestrated move that set the entire multiverse on a new path? Tony's death changed the course of Tom Holland's Spider-Man, leading him toward EDITH, Mysterio, and ultimately No Way Home, where Doctor Strange's Runes of Kof-Kol Spell came into play.

Since Strange no longer has the Time Stone and now relies on Runic Magic, he is already connected to Doom and there is a reason Strange let all of this happen to Earth-616. By using the spell on Peter in the name of "helping him," Strange led Spider-Man toward learning about the Runes of Kof-Kol, which Doom will eventually need to brainwash everyone on Battleworld and most likely, that spell will be performed by Doctor Strange himself. If Peter somehow manages to get into the Reed Richards/Ant-Man Raft, he will realize the spell is breakable, and he will become the reason everyone remembers everything about their past lives once again.

But the spell didn't only change Tom Holland's Spider-Man it also impacted the lives of Andrew's and Tobey's Spider-Man, which will come in handy in Battleworld. Even if Doctor Strange dies in Secret Wars when he turns against Doom and his coven, his plan will still work against Doom This ties back to the idea that either Howard or Tony Stark sold their soul to Mephisto in Earth-616, which would explain Tony's nightmares and the success of Stark Industries. Either way, Tony's soul will go to Mephisto, and Doom is already talking about how he'll answer to him so has the quest regarding Hell with Doctor Strange already happened, or did Strange and Doom trade Tony's soul for something else?

Indirectly, Tony Stark's soul holds a dark reality of himself and his consequences in life, which makes his soul a special one for Mephisto and Ghost Rider too. Perhaps the Earth-828 Fantastic Four's Doom is the reincarnation of Tony Stark, and he will remember everything regarding Earth-616 soon in Doomsday or Secret Wars. Strange even let Wanda destroy the Darkhold from the whole multiverse just so the Coven of Doom would also include Wanda.

Doctor Strange, the Sorcerer Supreme of Earth-616, is not a hero reacting to threats he is an architect building a trap, and he started building it long before anyone knew Doctor Doom was coming. Every variant of Stephen Strange follows the same law: find a way, no matter the cost. Strange Supreme destroyed his universe for Christine Palmer. Earth-838 Strange annihilated a reality to stop Thanos. Sinister Strange killed his variants searching for happiness. The Illuminati recognized this pattern and killed their Strange for it Reed Richards said it plainly: "The greatest danger to the Multiverse is Doctor Strange."

The greatest danger to the Multiverse is Doctor Strange." But 616 Strange is special because he is the only variant who has seen the pattern, understood it, and decided to weaponize it instead of resist it. He is the only Strange who learned from all the others
and then did it anyway, because this time the cost is the point.

Doctor Doom needs Strange, but not for his power. Doom can acquire power. What Doom cannot do is pay the price without being destroyed by it because his entire identity is built on the belief that he is exempt from consequences. He sacrificed Valeria for magic. He let the Peregrine Child ravage Earth's sorcerers because helping didn't serve him.

He tricked Strange into surrendering the Sorcerer Supreme title. Doom always assumes he is the exception. The runes don't care who you are. Strange is the only sorcerer who will voluntarily be the anchor for a spell that would annihilate anyone else and that willingness is exactly what Doom believes he can exploit

Doctor Strange and Rune of KofKol

The true depth of Doctor Strange's plan may only be revealed in Avengers: Secret Wars, but if we connect the dots across the Multiverse Saga, a compelling picture emerges. We may never fully know the answer to why he allowed Tony Stark to die in Endgame, but his subsequent actions suggest he has been playing a long and calculated game. His decision to cast the Runes of Kof-Kol in Spider-Man: No Way Home despite Wong's explicit warning was not reckless arrogance but a deliberate move to create a "blueprint" for how the spell works and, more importantly, how it can be broken.

By allowing Peter Parker to interrupt and manipulate the spell, Strange ensured that someone would survive with firsthand knowledge of its vulnerabilities knowledge that will prove invaluable when Doctor Doom inevitably uses the same runic magic to control Battleworld. Strange's later study of the Darkhold in Multiverse of Madness further suggests he was preparing for a confrontation with a powerful rune wielding enemy, possibly even Doom himself.

This leads to the most tragic and heroic part of his plan: Strange will seemingly ally himself with Doom in Avengers: Doomsday, only to betray him at the pivotal moment in Secret Wars. His betrayal will create the opening the resistance needs led by Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man, Wolverine, the consciousness of Loki within Doom, and Reed Richards aboard a lifeboat submarine to disrupt the spell and restore the memories of everyone on Battleworld. But this victory will come at a cost: Doctor Strange will die a hero, sacrificing himself to ensure the multiverse survives.

In that final moment, all of his plans from giving up the Time Stone for Tony, to casting the Runes of Kof-Kol, to studying the Darkhold, to working alongside Doom will finally come together, revealing that Strange was never a reckless sorcerer but the ultimate architect of the multiverse's salvation, playing a game so long and so deep that only his death could reveal the full picture.
