L’onore di averle vestite entrambe, le maglie grandi della mia Città.

Se educare è proporre adeguatamente il passato, ho indossato anche la responsabilità di trasmettere un’𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐚̀.

Diversissima per l’una e per l’altra, ma la storia di #Milan e #Inter mi appartiene tutta, è quella delle strade che percorro ogni giorno, del luogo che abito, delle persone che l’hanno costruita.

Pari orgoglio per entrambe le Storie, quindi, pur contribuendo solo per una minuscola parte (ma infilandoci uno «storico» primo tricolore).
Ma una portava con sé una briciola di magia: custodirò la meraviglia di aver guidato e visto gioire quei colori appesi alle pareti della cameretta, di 𝑞𝑢𝑎𝑛𝑑𝑜 𝑖𝑙 𝑝𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑑𝑎𝑣𝑎 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑓𝑜𝑠𝑠𝑒 𝑎 𝑚𝑜𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑒, e tu, grazie a lui, imparavi a sognare.

“What about female footballers?” Great question by @lanzie_ 😊

That question keeps coming up — and rightly so.

Female-specific ACL research is still far too limited. But when we actually study the women’s game properly, the injury story looks remarkably similar to the men’s game.

In this paper by Simona Lucarno, Matteo Zago, @matt.buckthorpe , @dr.albertograssi , @filo_tosarelli , Rebecca Smith, and @drdellavilla , most ACL injuries in professional female soccer players occurred without direct contact to the knee, and the dominant biomechanical pattern was valgus loading during real football situations like pressing/tackling, regaining balance after kicking, and being tackled.

So the takeaway is not that female players are completely different.
The takeaway is that they still deserve to be studied directly — not treated as an afterthought.

Similar findings do not mean the research gap is closed.

They mean we are finally asking the right questions.
