POSTS STORIES REELS

Design begins with curiosity.

For Matteo Zorzenoni, every project is an opportunity to explore the expressive potential of materials, transforming research into objects that balance function, emotion and identity.
In collaboration with NasonMoretti, this vision gave rise to Bibendum, Jingasa and Technicolor, three cordless lamps that reinterpret Murano glass through light, colour and essential forms.

A conversation about craftsmanship, experimentation and the value of contemporary design. Discover the story behind the collection.

Hashi Table
For @novamobili

The Hashi Table is inspired by traditional Japanese bridges, where structural solidity meets a pure and functional aesthetic. The heart of the design lies in the solid wood base: a central beam joins the oblique legs, creating a distinctive joint detail that celebrates fine cabinetmaking.
Each line is designed to convey harmony, thanks to soft, contoured edges that soften the imposing volumes. For maximum customization, the top is available in three exceptional finishes: the natural warmth of wood, the tactile durability of stoneware, or the timeless elegance of marble.
Hashi is more than just a table, it is a bridge between craftsmanship and contemporary design.

A form that appears simple, yet reveals complexity through light.

Bibendum is defined by the quiet elegance of ribbed Murano glass — a surface that captures and diffuses light in a continuous vertical rhythm. What seems essential is, in truth, the result of a refined and demanding process, where precision becomes invisible.

At its core, a soft white diffuser shapes a warm, enveloping glow, transforming light into atmosphere.

A portable presence, designed to move effortlessly across spaces, carrying with it a sense of balance, purity and timeless craft.

Grafts
Side Table
For
@carpanesehome

Grafts is a compact coffee table in which the shaped contours of the tabletop reveal the structure of the leg, redefining the architecture of contemporary furniture through the biological concept of grafting. Defined by the contrast between the porous texture of hand-crafted solid wood and the cool perfection of glossy lacquered wood surfaces or vibrant mirrored ceramic slabs, Grafts transforms design into a form of artisanal morphosis in which each element evolves into the next, creating a unique and dynamic furniture piece. Entirely crafted using artisanal techniques, Grafts is part of a wider collection of consoles and coffee tables conceived not as simple surfaces, but as sculptural presences capable of interacting with light and architecture, celebrating the luxury of exceptional craftsmanship.

A silhouette that holds a memory.

Jingasa draws inspiration from a distant archetype — the iconic shape of the samurai’s hat — reinterpreted through the language of glass.

The slender body, defined by vertical textures, meets a wide, protective shade that filters light with intention, creating a warm and controlled diffusion.

Here, form is not only aesthetic, but narrative. A balance between presence and lightness, where heritage becomes a contemporary gesture.

Technicolor
For @nasonmoretti by @matteozorzenoni

Color becomes structure. Light becomes depth.

Mini-Technicolor explores the expressive potential of glass through layering — three distinct strata that interact to generate unexpected chromatic dialogues.

When illuminated, the material reveals its inner complexity: tones shift, reflections multiply, and the object transforms depending on the observer’s gaze.

A subtle reference to memory, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, where color is not surface, but substance.

Material is never just material.

With Matteo Zorzenoni, every project begins with exploration — pushing surfaces, testing limits, uncovering unexpected possibilities.

Glass becomes a field of research, where transparency, texture and color are not fixed qualities, but variables in constant transformation.

In this collaboration with NasonMoretti, experimentation meets mastery. The result is a collection where design does not impose, but reveals — allowing the material to express its most authentic nature.
