In just 8 months since our first event you have helped raise enough money to cover the costs of restorive surgery for 24 women!
Our last event, Salad Night, raised $3,290 which will be used specifically to launch a new project in the Democratic Republic of Congo and provide some of the first surgeries ever in the nation.

Thank you to everyone who has so generously supported these events. Your actions have made a massive difference.
If you’re someone with an idea, a space or some special skills - please get in touch - we’re always looking for new event opportunities and partners.

Yvonne, 36 years old, is a mother of four from a village in Zambia's northern Luapula province. She developed a fistula during her first pregnancy in the year 2000, after a prolonged labor that lasted for several days. She was given medication at the hospital, which did nothing to address her condition.
Living with fistula, Yvonne was ashamed of her smell and leakage. She stopped attending church rallies and social gatherings, and her first husband abandoned her.

After suffering from her condition for more than 17 years, Yvonne received treatment at one of Fistula Foundation's partner hospitals, Mansa General Hospital. Now that she has found relief, she is feeling happy and grateful.
