I managed to break my tibia & fibula, and dislocate my ankle joint last fall … those who know me weren’t surprised … I’m dreadfully prone to accidents. However, this Ray of Sunshine (aka “Ratchey”, aka Nurse Ratched) nursed me back to the land of the walking.

Help me in sending a giant Thank You to “Ratchey” who more than earned this Ratchey’s Respite!

🎭 OKAY. THIRD TIME’S THE CHARM. 🎶

We promise we’re not dramatic… the universe just REALLY wanted a buildup.

After:
❄️ A once-in-a-lifetime Cincinnati snowstorm
🏈 And the Super Bowl landing on our rescheduled date

We’re officially (and confidently!) setting the date for Showtunes Sunday — and yes, this is it.

✨ NEW & FINAL DATE:
📅 Sunday, February 22
⏰ Same time
📍 Same place

We want our very first Showtunes Sunday to be exactly what it’s meant to be:
🎶 A packed room
🍹 Flowing themed drinks
🌈 Big sing-alongs
💃 Maximum camaraderie, zero distractions

Nothing else has changed — just the date. And honestly? This just means it’s going to be well worth the wait.

👉 Please RSVP (or update your RSVP) via the Facebook Event link in our bio.
Thank you for sticking with us — we cannot WAIT to finally sing with you 🎤✨ by @mattfromhighst

Long post incoming…

You know those moments in life when you’re left asking — how the hell did I get so lucky to find my people!? This weekend was one of those moments. ❤️

Committing to a @shophighst float in this year’s @cincinnatipride parade started as a rag-tag, glitter-and-duct-tape idea — a scrappy little expression of love, support, and showing up.

What I didn’t expect was to be completely blown away by the wickedly talented, wildly generous, and fiercely beautiful humans who showed up and made pure magic. You turned an idea into an unforgettable moment of joy. Every helping hand, every sparkle glued, every laugh shared — I felt it all. And I’ll be feeling it for a long time.

To everyone who marched, danced, decorated, or simply cheered us on — thank you. You reminded me what real pride looks like: showing up for each other, exactly as we are.

Endlessly grateful. Overflowing with love. 🏳️‍🌈💫
