Dave Van de Walle interviewed me about the San Francisco Giants Pride hat controversy and the parallels to the kerfuffle over the God Squad, the born-again San Francisco Giants of 1978. Legendary San Francisco Bay Area sports columnist Lowell Cohn just posted this on X about my new book: "A recommendation: 'In My Humble Opinion,' selected great sports columns by Matt Sieger. He discusses how he got a hit off Bouton, nice guys don't always finish last, how he interviewed DiMaggio when Matt was 21, an intro to God Squadders, worst baseball team ever and more." by @matthew.sieger.50
