Oh solomon… I can’t believe this really happened💔. My teammate, my best friend, my pickleball duo, and most importantly you are my brother from another mother. Over the years of us doing gymnastics together I learned so many things about you. You are the kindest, the funniest, and most comforting person I know. We were just talking last night about how we were going to play pickleball when I come home from Ohio. I can’t believe the last pictures I sent to you were from the tour of Ohio State. Maybe we can keep the pickleball plans in another life❤️. You really brightened up everyone’s day and I wish I could’ve helped. Please keep us in your prayers as we are grieving this devastating loss. Mental health matters. Please check up on your friends. I love you so so much Solomon, may you rest in peace. I am dedicating my gymnastics career for you, as you would want me to make you proud❤️. LLSB🕊️ by @matthew__gamboa

To be honest, it’s been hard getting back into gymnastics because I have been struggling with mental health over the past 2 months. I made a goal that I will become a national champion for my best friend that passed away, Solomon Boltes. I will rep your name forever. #ForSolo by @matthew__gamboa

I am beyond proud to announce my commitment to Greenville University in Illinois!

First and foremost, I give all the glory to God for blessing me with this opportunity. Without His guidance, grace, and continuous strength, none of this would be possible.

I want to thank my family from the bottom of my heart for pushing me through every step of this journey. Thank you for the long drives to practice, the sacrifices, and for always believing in me.

I also want to dedicate the rest of my career to my best friend who passed away, Solomon Boltes. You will forever be my motivation every time I step onto the floor.

A huge thanks goes out to my coaches and teammates at both @rosesgymnastics and @triumphgymnc . I am especially grateful for Coach Maurice and @flipasu for pushing my limits every single day and guiding me through difficult times.

Finally, thank you to @danemcramer and @derek_a_schlag for seeing my potential and giving me the opportunity to represent your gym in the NCAA. I am truly honored, and I cannot wait to get to work.

25-26 szn☑️| Not the ending I wanted, but an overall great season. Raising difficultly from a 3.3 to a 4.9 and score by almost 2 points. Time to fix and build in the summer⚒️
