Photo Dump… Spent a few unforgettable days at Paradero Hotel and Residences; a place that feels less like a hotel and more like a living, breathing experience.

There’s a rare kind of beauty here… raw, intentional, and deeply rooted in the land. Every detail feels thoughtful, every space invites presence. From grounding sound baths to sunrise yoga, to being out on the water for a catamaran ride, it’s the kind of environment that reconnects you to yourself while inspiring something bigger.

Grateful to share it all with incredible colleagues and even more incredible humans — the kind of people who are as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside.

And none of it happens without the heart behind it, the team at Paradero. The staff and management created something truly special here. The warmth, the care, the authenticity… it doesn’t go unnoticed.

A place that feeds the soul as much as it does the senses. Already looking forward to being back.

A hillside compound in Pacific Palisades built for @archdigest recognition.

Esteemed firm, Krueger Architects reimagined a bow-tie-shaped lot that developers had passed on as an asset: the main residence commands the street-level rise with ocean and city views from all three floors, a guest house floats on stilts through the lot’s center, and a pool house anchors the wider rear parcel with a gym, spa treatment room, and a second-floor office built for calls with the world while taking in the view.

Bronze and charcoal metal panels let the compound recede into the hillside, its torqued rooflines tracing the slope’s own geometry toward the ridge. At the base, Stephen Billings Landscape Architecture shaped a natural playscape of tree swings, berms, and land bridges.

Approximately 7,100 square feet across the three structures, set on a 16,000+ square foot lot. A 40 x 11 foot pool and expansive deck open onto a grassy rear yard — rare flat, usable land in this pocket of the hillside.
