Flicks of UH vs LSU in NRG Stadium 📸

This is officially my last Matthewdirects post before 2026 and can I say this has been an insane journey, this time last year I was still in a grey area in terms of the future of photography and college in general, no way did I ever think i’d be shooting D1 Football in NRG Stadium. For everyone that’s supported me in this photography journey forever thank you i’m incredibly grateful.

Still from Astros V Diamondbacks

-

I initially disliked this photo because of the obstruction from 28 but in hindsight I think it carries the story of the situation and separates Christian Walker well from Ketel Marte.

The Houston Cougars were left wondering “What If” Friday night against Texas Tech after a successful 2-point conversion would have tied the game 28-28.

Houston Quarterback Connor Weigman carried an impressive
• 3 Touchdowns
• 282 Passing Yards
• 71.1% Completion Rate

Despite the strong show, what fans have described to be the “best failed 2-point conversion” cost Houston the loss. taken in Galaxy Stadium by @matthewdirects
