4 years ago today this sweet dog came into my life. I was in my last semester of grad school just slogging it through school remotely and COVID. Jiemba is such a source of love, joy, and brightness. A lot has happened to me in the last few years. A lot of great things and also a lot of not so great things. A couple relationships, a couple jobs, a couple big moves across states, Jiemba (pronounced Jimba) has been there to support me through all of it. She’s my little peanut and I just wanted to make a celebratory post. I think my favorite thing is we share the same birthday, December 1st, which means we get to celebrate our birthdays together and I just love that I get to fly home and celebrate it with this little goober. Jiemba has done agility training and soon is going to be doing scent training! Through thick and thin, I know Jiemba and I will always be a team, even when she gets sprayed by a skunk lol. Frankly, 2020 has been one of the worst years, if not *the* worst year of my life, and I imagine I’m not alone in this regard.
