I’m recording a hill country blues version of Zero by the @yeahyeahyeahs . The groove will be on SG. The swell will be on resonator. They were in different tunings.
1. Open E vs. Open D
2. Open E vs. a half arsed Open E
3. Now we’re talking.
4. Test run. Break ‘em On Down - @soledad_brothers
5. I’ll preach with confidence eventually, maybe 💚 by @matthewkvatch

A shitty upload as it’s recorded on my phone from a vinyl. But it’s still bad ass 💚 #henryandjune by @matthewkvatch

Been eyeing this up for weeks. Finally bit the bullet before someone beat me to it. They gave me a free pen with it 😂 Thank you @sk1records 🙂 and as always, I will continue to advertise @mimiandthemiseries and my Soledad Sister @mimibamalama via their tote bag 😍 by @matthewkvatch

Some slides! The bottom row are in active rotation. I still struggle with pinky, so my custom ring finger on the bottom right from @diamondbottlenecks wins out 💚 by @matthewkvatch

Good gracious! Finding this record in @sk1records is utterly sensational. One of my era of Detroiters! @komelina, a different band I know, but please comeback on over with @thedirtbombsband 😉. by @matthewkvatch

I am a middle aged man. I saw @golombgolombgolomb tonight and I fucking loved it. They cheered me up, and I wish them well. A great night ❤️ (and a little advertisement here for @mimiandthemiseries) by @matthewkvatch

@mimiandthemiseries recorded the @soledad_brothers, and captured me photographing @mimibamalama, with her husband (we shared some good photos). What a night ❤️ by @matthewkvatch
