10 years of being married to my best friend in the whole world!

They say that humans experience 10 different emotional shifts per day that’s 36,500 different emotions over 10 years time. People also will laugh on average over 73,000 times over 10 years as well. It’s also on average that you will experience 3-5 significant life changes over a 10 years span too.

No matter the emotions, experiences, laughs and sorrows, triumphs or downfalls, highs and lows I am so incredibly thankful that we have gotten to experience and grow through it all together as 2 broken people, trying in the process of life our best to be more like Jesus and make a big deal of the little things!

The next 10 years of our beautiful life together are going to blow the first 10 out of the water. Let’s celebrate our love today!!! by @matthewmaclay

Happy Birthday to my Sunshine Girl!

Officially 30, and in the words of Duke Kekoa “that’s a big deal” lol

Some of you might look at Kaleo and think “Volleyball Superstar” or “Badass Mom” or even “Hawaiian Royalty” which are all true but when I see her in every day life I see the meaning of her name being lived out to the fullest…

Kaleo Okalani Kanahele : The Voice of the Heavens.

She is powerful, strong, caring, full of empathy & grace, overflowing with care for all, a light in ever area, uplifting, purposeful and so so much more.

If you know her you know it’s all real and genuine and even if you don’t guarantee you’ve been told. That kind of reputation doesn’t just happen, it’s built by the fruit of who she is!

I love you with all of my heart Honey Girl 🖤 by @matthewmaclay

3 years ago today my Papa passed away. He was my biggest supporter, he never once looked at my in disgust or disappointment when he drove me 20 hours to rehab when I was 16 only love and care… He is my greatest hero in life, so much of the fire behind my passion for coffee and music forever and always.

“The king is gone but he’s not forgotten
This is a story of a Johnny rotten
It’s better to burn out than it is to rust
The king is gone but he’s not forgotten”

I love and miss you papa!

Nothing more thankless than being a parent at times… Any special moment you fondly look back on from a birthday to a holiday didn’t happen just because of a season but because of an un thanked, tired, full hearted parent behind the scenes to make dreams a reality!

Kaleo is one of those moms who goes above and beyond for her children to ensure they don’t only grow up liking things because of the season but because they have core memories entangled through out the whole year!

She’s a superstar in more ways than one… Thankful is an understatement.

I love you to the moon and back sunshine girl 🖤 by @matthewmaclay
