About yesterday.........

Absolute pleasure once again. This time in perfect conditions 🤌🤌🤌

Shot the same score I did last time (+7) but was +3 after 3 this time, not -3 after 2 🤪🤪 So all in all wasn't too bad.

Don't think I'll ever get bored of this place, until next time. 😍😍 taken in Old Course, St Andrews Links by @mattholbrook86

About yesterday. 👇🏼👇🏼 (Probably post 1 of 2)

Some day, that.

Basically, a 24-hour day but created a memory for a lifetime.

8 hours in the car. And stripe one down the middle and stick it close to birdie the first.

Stripe it down the second, hole the pitch for an Eagle 2.

-3 under through 2 at the home of golf.

The weather turned. The wind picked up, but it didn't take away from the experience. One I think every golfer should have just once. by @mattholbrook86

Old Petty ✅

What an outstanding addition to the property at @cabothighlands

Complimenting Castle Stuart so well and it amazes me what you can do with a piece of land when the right people are involved. 🤌🤌

Stunning views everywhere you look and a super layout. Going to struggle to find a better 36 hole venue for me and one of the best half way houses ever. 😍

Cabot Highland you were perfect. ⛳❤️⛳ taken in Cabot Highlands by @mattholbrook86

Castle Stuart you have my heart ❤️ (And my golf balls)

Incredible experience. Can't describe how good this golf course is. Views on views and so much fun to play. Seriously considering placing this straight into my top 3. 😬😬

Swipe across for views and the most perfect rainbow 🌈

Old Petty tomorrow. Can't wait. 🤌🤌🤌 taken in Cabot Highlands by @mattholbrook86

First full round at my home course since 14th June. 😳😳

Nice to be back to an early Saturday morning game. Sun coming up. Slight crisp in the air 🤌🤌🤌

Some good and some bad golf. But right now, just pleased to be out there.

Take 3 back 9 birdies all day. 🙏 taken in Diss Golf Club by @mattholbrook86

Felt good to get back to some golf this month. Given me the nudge I probably needed after a bit of a break. Maybe I got my mojo back a bit. 🤌🤌

Still lots going on away from the course - which is super exciting. But it feels good to be back. 😮‍💨 taken in Worldwide by @mattholbrook86

Suffolk Open 2026. ✅

That's a wrap on the big ones for 2026. 🫡

Some start today, hitting my first 2 shots into the North Sea and making a 9 on my opening hole. By the time the first round was finished I had managed a smashing 92 (+21) - the highlight being a lovely 4 putt double on the par 5 18th.

Round 2 was different though, the golfer that I know is in there turned up and despite another double bogey on the 18th - this time involving 2 bunkers, and knocked it round in a very respectable 76 (+5) which also included 2 x 3 putt pars after great tee shots.

Nice to wrap up the season with a decent round 🤌

Pleasure to also play with eventual winner @jamesbiggsgolf
Watching him go round in 70/71 today was super impressive for a -1 total overall, so congrats to him.

Thanks to everyone at @gorlestongolfclub and @suffolk.golf for a great and well run day. I had played the course many years ago and was so much better than I remembered. Greens in particular were so good. taken in Gorleston-On-Sea, Norfolk, United Kingdom by @mattholbrook86
