Biking in Blue Mountain Reservation (Peekskill, NY) last Thursday, on my son’s 28th birthday. While we didn’t find the “friendliest” trails, there was an abundance of lovely landscapes. by @mattkingkeys

Images from Riverside Church in NYC. It’s been my great pleasure & honor for many years to accompany the church’s ever-effervescent Inspirational Choir, who had their seasonal debut in yesterday’s morning service. The space is of course stunning, with an awesome 9-foot Steinway for me, and as a bonus, the prelude music included a string ensemble performing some Mozart. by @mattkingkeys

Images from another beautiful venue where I performed last night. Now known as “Parque”, this Tudor-style mansion was originally called Hunting Hills, and was built in 1915 around a 1773 stone farmhouse. The structure and its extensive landscaping, designed by the Olmsted family (Central Park, etc), lies within Ridley Creek State Park, west of Philadelphia. by @mattkingkeys

Birthday celebration last night for Kid #1, Anthony King, at “Tiny Tapas” in NYC (recommended), a few days short of his 28th solar orbit. We had brought tiramisu, we Kings’ cake of choice, but our server trotted out a much more dazzling (albeit inedible) dish. Back to the birthday boy: I could go on & on extolling his many virtues, but instead will just mention this: While the etymology of the name “Anthony” is unclear, a commonly accepted meaning is “Priceless”…and in his case, that’s perfect. I’m a lucky dad. 🎂💙🙏 by @mattkingkeys

Images from “Oberod” (sounds like a Harry Potter villain), a 1930s mansion near Wilmington, DE, where I performed on Saturday. Despite living in nearby NJ, I’ve rarely visited the “first state”, but this is the most beautiful place I’ve seen so far. Fun fact: There’s a military tank on the premises. 🤷🏻‍♂️😅 (last pic) by @mattkingkeys
