The best season ever.
The first thing I did after the Birds won was call my dad. He was at a party in the Philly area, I was at the Westgate’s party here in Vegas. You can hear I got choked up, because I was by his side through the playoff run. I flew to Philly three straight weekends, 4 out of 5 weekends overall. I saw the three playoff games with three different cousins, two of whom I hadn’t seen in a couple years. I saw the Eagles dominate to win the NFC title. I saw an epic game in a snowstorm. I saw Saquon Barkley hit 2,000 yards. I got to see the Eagles kick butt on the road in LA & Dallas, with my cousin Josh, who lived here briefly in LV til he went back to working on a ship & traveling the world. (Peep the last video for a laugh from him)
Then I remember back to September. I was in Philly for the home opener, but the day before, I went with Dad to the Linc for a first of its kind season ticket member gift pickup. (See next to last pic.) We got to see parts of the Linc we don’t get to see from section 207. We had an option to take a pic with the first Lombardi trophy. We agreed that the trophy was getting old, so we declined, and said the Birds needed one to join it. by @mattkling_

Worked an 8 hour shift, flew to SD, went to my first Phillies playoff game in 11 years, then flew back to Vegas, barely slept & then worked another 8 hour shift. I’d do this again in a heartbeat, but only for a Phillies dub taken in Petco Park by @mattkling_

Still can’t believe the last few days. The NFL Draft came to Vegas & I got to watch the selections inside the Draft Theater. All of this after two awesome mornings of helping produce awesome draft coverage with the best news team around. This was all dream come true moments. I’m still catching up on my sleep! taken in Las Vegas, Nevada by @mattkling_

I went to three different Eagles games in three cities this season. The Birds went 1-2, 1-0 in Philly, 0-2 away from Philly. Oh well. The common denominator - I was with family at all 3 games.
