🎉🦏GOING WILD with a RECORD-BREAKING $3.06 MILLION raised at Woodland Park Zoo’s 50th Annual Jungle Party!!! 🐅🦍🦁🦩🐧🎉
What an incredible way to celebrate 50 years of conservation and one of our region’s greatest treasures!🥳

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to Chief Development Officer Sarah Valentine, President and CEO Alejandro Grajal (pictured), Donor Relations Manager Madeleine Harris, and the entire Woodland Park Zoo team for creating the BEST Jungle Party yet!!!👏

Big thanks to our dedicated event co-chairs Mary Blodgett, Rick Rasmussen and Monica Rasmussen, and Jill Walker aka “Jungle Party Jill” (all pictured) for stepping up to make the night so UNFORGETTABLE!🙌

And major props to honorary chair, actor and wildlife enthusiast Kyle MacLachlan (pictured) best known for his memorable roles in Twin Peaks, Desperate Housewives and Sex and the City 🎬 for throwing his passion into the event!🤩

It was an absolute blast sharing the stage once again with my friend and co-auctioneer, the incredibly talented, Fred Northup Jr. (pictured)! 🎤

And such a joy to reunite with my former FOX 13 Seattle colleague Franque Thompson (pictured), who joined me in hosting the reception portion of the night!😄

Huge props to our AV extraordinaires at Punch Drunk including Jacob Stone, Joseph Lambert and the team, BLS, and our remarkable show caller Pamela Campi, who helped make the entire evening look, sound stunning! 🔊

Most of all, THANK YOU to the generous donors and supporters who raised their paddles and made this historic total possible! Your generosity fuels world-class animal care, protects wildlife and wild places, and inspires future generations. ❤️🌎

🏌🏻‍♀️GOLFING for GOOD, DRIVING SUPPORT for adults with disabilities and Bridge of Promise — and such a joy to be able to share this special day with my daughter (pictured), who’s working at Bridge of Promise again this summer! !🎉⛳️

Thanks to the generous golfers, sponsors, and supporters who joined us at Sahalee Country Club, to play a round, raise their paddles, and make it a record-breaking day — topping $260,000! 🙌

Always fun to see friends taking part, including Executive Director Jodi Richey, Ashley Blakely Alexander, Natasha Thomas, Mahmood Ghassemi (pictured), Maria Graddon (pictured), Board President Marcia Martin (pictured), DeeDee Reisenauer (pictured), Bob Richey (pictured), and so many others!🤩

It was such an honor for me to host the golf tournament and Paddle Raise supporting Bridge of Promise — which helps so many adults with developmental disabilities live full, enriched lives!!!🙏

La dolce vita in Italy is even sweeter with family! 🇮🇹🍦 What a blast to experience the magic of Umbria with my brother — who lives in London — his wonderful wife, and their two awesome boys!

From exploring ancient hilltop towns… to cruising through the countryside on e-bikes… to our very important daily gelato research… Umbria delivered big time! 😄

Beautiful views, incredible food, lots of laughs, and memories we’ll be talking about for years!

🐕‍🦺🎉Almost $660,000 Raised means MORE SERVICE DOGS! More independence. More lives changed!!!🎉🐕‍🦺
What an UNFORGETTABLE night at the 2026 Sit Stay Sparkle Gala that featured a RECORD-BREAKING Paddle Raise supporting Canine Companions providing more expertly trained service dogs to children, adults, and military veterans with disabilities — all at no cost to the people who need them most! 🙌

As the father of a child with disabilities, I have so much appreciation for Canine Companions! It was an honor to serve as auctioneer for this impactful event!!!🎤

One of the most powerful moments of the evening was hearing from featured client 8-year-old Jett (pictured), who has a terminal genetic disorder called Hurler Syndrome, and seeing the incredible bond he shares with his service dog, Clark.🥰🦮
Their story reminded all of us why this mission matters so much!

Huge congratulations to my new friend Jackie Cimino (pictured) and her service dog Kyle! Jackie became the FIRST-EVER Canine Companions client to serve as emcee of this gala, sharing her inspiring journey and the life-changing impact Kyle has had on her independence and daily life. 🎤🐾

Of course, the parade of future service dog puppies may have stolen a few hearts along the way! 🐶😍

THANK YOU to Exective Director Kristen Dambrowski, Julia Marcus (pictured), Michelle Williams, Audrey Curran, and the entire Canine Companions team, volunteers, puppy raisers, breeder caretakers, and supporters who worked so hard to make this incredible evening possible. 👏✨

Kudos to CEO Paige Mazzoni for her powerful words on stage and relentless passion in leading the organization!🤩

🌴✈️🌊 We packed our bags for the “The Sounds of Vacation Gala” and took an unforgettable journey to support more children who are deaf or hard of hearing and their families through Listen and Talk!!! ⛱️🥳

Listen and Talk partners with families to help children develop listening and spoken language skills, ensuring that no child is limited by hearing loss. Their work changes lives and helps children build a life without limits every day!🙌

It was an honor to serve as auctioneer alongside star MC Will Desler (pictured), a Listen and Talk alum, whose inspiring story is proof of what’s possible when children are given the tools and support to thrive!👏🎤

A huge THANK YOU to the dedicated team who worked so hard to create such a memorable evening, including Executive Director Maura Berndsen (pictured), Latife Lacin, Kristin Hill, Julie Russell, Jessie Phillips, and the entire Listen and Talk staff and board! 🙌

Congratulations to the incredible 2026 Life Without Limits Award recipients: Phoenix Meabon, Reese Bishopp, Olivia Leitich, Landon Nolfi-Browne, Max Wu, and Rita Lynn! 🌟
Their achievements in academics, athletics, advocacy, public service, esports, aerospace manufacturing, and beyond are powerful reminders that there truly are no limits to what can be achieved!!!🤩

On a night that celebrated a concert from the LEGENDARY Bonnie Raitt, donors gave them “Something to Talk About” — helping us raise a RECORD-BREAKING $726,000 and counting to support the Centrum Foundation!!!🎶🙌🎉
What a remarkable evening celebrating the power of the arts, creativity, mentorship, and community!!!👏

I was honored to serve as auctioneer and host for a night that celebrated not only great artists — but the next generation of them! 🎻🎨🎼

A special tribute to Executive Director Robert Birman, whose 14 years of visionary leadership have helped shape Centrum into the extraordinary organization it is today!
Rob’s work has helped champion artists, nurture young talent, inspire donors, and build a culture where creativity, connection, and belonging thrive.
THANK YOU, Rob, for your incredible service and impact! 🤩

Big props to Clare Hausmann Weiand, Genevieve Barlow, Nicci Van Duran, Nicole Comforto, the dedicated staff and board, the volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who helped create such a memorable night!👏

Kudos to Board President Walter Parsons for his leadership and setting the stage at the gala for a night of generosity!👊

One of the highlights of the night was hearing from and being inspired by the next generation of artists through Centrum’s new Youth Artists Society. Watching talented young musicians Jade Katz and Ben Shafer perform together — after first connecting through Centrum — was a beautiful reminder of why this organization matters so much!🎤

And of course, thank you to the legendary Bonnie Raitt for an unforgettable concert at the beautiful Fort Worden and for her support of Centrum’s mission! 🎸🎶
