Very excited to be playing this weekend at @croilar_festival

Here, I'll be showcasing some work I've been doing from a big music project, which links music with different moods and feelings. Here I'm so excited to play some of my band discoveries which I'll be mixing between the live gigs tonight. On the last night, I'll be dropping some emotional fueled club tracks with @adamthakore. By filling the space with expanding sounds and pure textures, I hope to reach out to the hearts and minds on the dancefloor.

Bonie lassie, will ye go,
Will ye go, will ye go,
Bonie lassie, will ye go
To the birks of Aberfeldy!

Now Simmer blinks on flowery braes,
And o'er the crystal streamlets plays;
Come let us spend the lightsome days,
In the birks of Aberfeldy.

Bonie lassie, will ye go,
Will ye go, will ye go,
Bonie lassie, will ye go
To the birks of Aberfeldy!

While o'er their heads the hazels hing,
The little birdies blythely sing,
Or lightly flit on wanton wing,
In the birks of Aberfeldy.

Bonie lassie, will ye go,
Will ye go, will ye go,
Bonie lassie, will ye go
To the birks of Aberfeldy!

The braes ascend like lofty wa's,
The foaming stream deep-roaring fa's,
O'erhung wi' fragrant spreading shaws-
The birks of Aberfeldy.

Bonie lassie, will ye go,
Will ye go, will ye go,
Bonie lassie, will ye go
To the birks of Aberfeldy!

The hoary cliffs are crown'd wi' flowers,
White o'er the linns the burnie pours,
And rising, weets wi' misty showers
The birks of Aberfeldy.

Bonie lassie, will ye go,
Will ye go, will ye go,
Bonie lassie, will ye go
To the birks of Aberfeldy!

Let Fortune's gifts at randoe flee,
They ne'er shall draw a wish frae me;
Supremely blest wi' love and thee,
In the birks of Aberfeldy.

Bonie lassie, will ye go,
Will ye go, will ye go,
Bonie lassie, will ye go
To the birks of Aberfeldy!

Very excited to be performing at Edinburgh Fringe this year! I've loved creating the show with @avaloncomedy which will be a night out filled with musical hits!

The McEwan Hall will feel quite different from when I last performed at the Fringe. This is no hilarious sketch show at the bottom of a Chiquitos (#DoubleDenim), but an epic musical journey at the Fringe's biggest venue. You won't want to miss this DJ show!

Hi All, it’s been a while since I’ve last posted about the marathon and I’m pleased to be back to announce that we raised a whopping £2,829.68 for ActionAid - so THANK YOU!

Your money could have gone to recent projects such as the Pakistan floods - £30 of money raised can provide enough blankets to keep two families warm and £50 feeds a family for a month during the crisis. I’ve done some maths… Last year 67% went straight to humanitarian and development programs (with the rest going on fundraising, support costs and campaigning for the charity.) So that’s £1,895 going straight to these projects - an equivalent of 38 families fed for a month, or 126 familes kept warm with blankets.

With Christmas coming up, your donation will also help women find shelter who have experienced violence at home. Please check out the ActionAid website and hear the many ways your money has helped women and girls living in poverty around the world.

A few more thanks to mention: firstly to the ActionAid team for giving me the support and opportunity to do this. Secondly to my mum, Sarah, who spent many hours driving to schools all around London and teaching kids about different cultures in our world.

Very happy with my time of 3:56:21 - thanks to the friends who ran with me and gave me great advice, you really were huge help for my training.

Running the marathon has been a hugely rewarding experience. All the love and support in the lead up and on the day gave me a huge sense of purpose and happiness. With all the training you have to do, much of this mission has been on my own, but it never felt like I was alone, because of the support I knew I had from you, so thank you for being part of this journey with me!

Much love, Matt xxx by @mattmoodj
