Quick two evening project to fix my moto gps overheating issue by creating a snap on sunshade that works with the mount but leaves a little all around the unit for airflow, less about shading the screen and more about keeping direct sunlight light off back of it. Airbox and intake runners for Honda parallel twin that doesn’t exist. Lots of issues in the design but it was about learning to model separate assemblies for different 3d materials, metals, plastics and importing hardware like O rings, clips, brass inserts etc. so I could get it all made. That was a run on sentence. #fusion360 by @mattnrask

3d printed 6061 aluminum grab rails turned out great, light and strong, along with some other moto tools and mounts I made for fun. Cut down AltRider tailrack and stock grab rails to narrow up the tail section for bags. #moto by @mattnrask

I got turned onto using SendCutSend to fab final metal racks and mounts years ago, they’ll laser cut, bend and powder coat your final parts which is a game changer for building almost anything. 3d work done in Fusion 360, then 3d print prototypes to verify fit and design and send off to get made…#sendcutsend #ducati #ktm by @mattnrask

Nike Air Okwahn - ACG Approach shoe. Resolable sticky rubber outsole, Cut ‘n Buff EVA midsole, TPU external heel clip, full length TPU plate, Potato Chip airbag in heel (hidden), suede leather upper with die cuts to conform to foot, simple webbing lace stays, skived rubber tip and heel overlays. Super fun to work on trying to keep it as simple as possible. A lot of the thinking that went in to making this went into a follow up Switchblade (green shoe) I worked on later in a purposefully more refined execution. #acg #nike #footweardesign #productdesign by @mattnrask
