I preordered this bike a little over two years ago and today I finally got to pick it up. Just have to wait a tiny bit longer to update software and charge everything. Hopefully the rain holds out so we can get some track days in and see how it flys 🦅 #starkvarg by @mattreno3

Slush cup puts Wapiti’s ski season 2023/24 in the bag✌️

Eden sent the jump line even though she doesn’t hit jumps! I got a solid first pass then ran out of talent on the big jump and lost a well placed bet with Logan. Solid day in the office though 👌

Always a good time running into long time friends and making some new ones 🫶

Big shoutout to the @wapitivalley fam for putting on the event every year and @propagandashop for bringing some toss outs also @__dekay__ for grabbing some shots of us🙌

If you haven’t run through a slush pit before you gotta try it’s a blast!

Copped a week at Panorama with the fam.

Lily busted her helmet right open on a crash. Eden learned about tree wells. I discovered my knee isn’t fully healed from crashing my dirt bike but the road to glory is paved with failure and misery:
Lily also learned to carve. Eden learned short turn carves and got to put them to work on some black diamond moguls. Kansas got to practice his pizza and learned to turn. When I got my ski instructor certification earlier this year I learned some new skills that I finally got to practice in some challenging and technical terrain, and man what a difference does the right technique make.

We were mostly too busy to take pictures but I call that win. Was a pleasure as always @panoramaresort ✌️#canadianrockies #family by @mattreno3

El Diablo Run 2025 🌮 where a bunch of deadbeats take their sloppy bikes from Nevada down into Mexico for some break downs and hijinks. So obviously sounds like a good time.

My chop should be on the road this year so I can start to shake it down. It’s not however set up for long distance so I’ll have to fabricate some gas solutions and attachments for camping gear. So that will be my task for this summer.

I got a head start over ddsdawsy and @rusted_iron_garage who are starting with just hardtail frames but I’m a shit mechanic so I need the rolling start.

We have until May 2025 to be ready and that may sound like a lot of time but with choppers ain’t nothing easy. so ladies and gentlemen, start your credit cards for purchasing bike parts.

Even though the planet has clearly shown its ability to easily support “billions of large meat eaters” for spans of millions of years at a time, here’s an alternative idea to help save the planet without making everyone eat bugs and live in ten minute city’s/prisons. If you enjoy thought experiments please read on:

First to eliminate the resources problem we need to simply expand our resources.

We need to manufacture technology that allows us to move to and from space easily and to build the equipment to capture and harvest the endless materials that are floating right here in our own solar system.
Once we have convenient technology to not only lift cargo to space but also to bring cargo back we can shift to build harmful manufacturing and factories in orbit. Workers simply commute to and from.

This will also reduce a vast amount of emissions having factories and mining facilities elsewhere and any waste we create we simply fire it into the sun (as example) to be disposed of safely and securely.

We as a planet should green light any technology that allows us to achieve this goal. Even if we have to mine and burn coal short term to do it, so long as it helps us achieve the ability to move future manufacturing off the planet as quickly as possible.

After that point we can designate the entire planet heritage park status and prohibit any unnecessary or unsafe emissions from being produced here and any waste to be sent elsewhere.

This gives us infinite opportunity for expansion and development while simultaneously protecting the earth and the human race from toxic environments allowing everyone to live and enjoy all of our little planet. 🌍 🌱
