Finishing up our honeymoon but we are still reflecting on our amazing day last week (1.11.25). We are huge football fans and first connected on NFL Draft Night in 2021 so we wanted to pull that detail into our day. Also, we wanted our Photo Booth to mimic the @vanityfair #oscars photos. Three weeks. One iconic destination. Endless fútbol energy. ⚽🔥

This summer, @nikela turned @thegrovela into the home of football in LA. From a full-size pitch for 1v1 tournaments to AF1 & jersey customizations, match watch parties, AMC takeovers, and nonstop fan moments. We brought the game to the heart of the city!

Every match day had its own vibe, from mariachi bands and salsa dancers for Mexico to a 4th of July celebration for the USMNT. And to top it all off, we premiered the TOMA documentary, celebrating the journey of LA’s young TOMA athletes as they chased their shot all the way to New York for the TOMA Finals.

@becore is grateful to have helped bring this vision to life alongside an incredible team. The beautiful game showed up, and so did LA. 🌎🤝⚽

How were the vibes @ WNBA All Star? Unmatched. 💫🏀

Spent the weekend celebrating 30 years of Nike x WNBA partnership by helping bring the energy to Chicago for 2026 All-Star Weekend.

Over three days, nearly 7,000 fans stepped into our space exploring Nike’s Gallery of Greats, snapping Polaroids, sharing how they’ll change the game, and customizing fresh Nike gear with exclusive W-inspired designs.

The wall of pictures + messages? Pure chills. A reminder that the next generation isn’t waiting for the future…they’re creating it.

Proud of my @becore fam for absolutely understanding the assignment and bringing this experience to life alongside Nike. Grateful to play a small part in celebrating the current all-stars and legends of the game who paved the way, while inspiring the ones up next. 🧡

Counting the blessings and cherishing the moments. 1.11.2025 will forever be the day that I married my best friend. We said I do in front of God, our family and loved ones from across the country in the brunch wedding of my dreams. From sunrise to sunset the entire day was filled with just pure happiness. Words can’t fully express how much I appreciate our village and community for pouring into us on our big day. Thank you to our entire team of vendors (95% black-owned from the DMV) and our planner for bringing our Romantic Brunch + Football + Monochromatic Day Party vision to life. #DuncInLove
