i’m excited to start @lee_minjin ‘s Pachinko. I have heard wonderful things, but to start, can we get a little noise this deluxe edition? it’s absolutely stunning. 👏 👏 🌺

@douglas_stuart writes some of the best characters in fiction. John of John is no exception. a powerful story of family, community, shame and salvation. he’s somehow outdone himself again, writing today’s best sellers — tomorrow’s classics. #johnofjohn #douglasstuart #books #reading by @mattsreads

i couldn’t put this one down! dark academia, dystopian, lgbt. - a moody English setting, secrets and mystery, tension. this is one of the best on a whim purchases i’ve made at the book store in a minute. i really hope there’s going to be more. there’s going to be more, right? @jsstrange @onemorechapterhc by @mattsreads

i’m just a little over halfway through this one, and it is definitely my favorite one in the series thus far. the action is abundant and i am cackling at every other page it seems. DENISE 🪿

completed my third dungeon crawl with carl and princess donut.
on to something drastically different
silence by Shūsaku Endō — very introspective, Endō’s descriptions of landscape and nature are incredibly vivid — a profound exploration of faith.
