So psyched to finally drop some @bayonnemusic footage from the sold-out Austin show @parishatx this past summer. This show was an experience beyond words and, luckily, @prismaticpicturesllc was there to film the heck out of it. Go on the YouTubez to check out full video of this cut—which is ‘Words’ btw, one of my personal fav tracks—and expect more clips to be dropping in the near future 👽 taken in Heard.Live by @matttoman

I made a little feature post for what I do in @bayonnemusic 🤠 This was an opportunity to show more of my role in the artwork, as opposed to the obvious music side of things. I can’t believe I’ve been collaborating with this dude for this long. Love ya, Rog 🫶

I threw in an extra slide to this post from when I played my first show with him at @funfunfunfest back in 2015. It’s wild that was almost a decade ago 🫠 props to @poonehghana for those amazing shots! 📸 taken in Austin, Texas by @matttoman

'Good Enough' music video by the goat @ruffmercy 🙇‍♂️ He made the 'Drastic Measures' video back in the day and just creates the most vibrant, texturally-rich music videos out there. Big shoutout to @marshallfwalker for the raw footage also 🎬

Been sitting on this one for a while. Did lots of synths and drums on it (bonus points for two different drum sounds). Really stoked w the final product. It's also especially rad to hear the sequencing from track one ('Unexpected'), the slow-burn opener and one of Roger's best imo, into this one. Love those two tracks in particular and the sequencing that connects them (and the rest of the record obv). Additional shoutout to @gooddannys for making everything fly 🚀 among many others involved 🙌

New @bayonnemusic single out now! 🌈✨ It's one of the three collab tracks on the new album that saw Roger and I, for the first time, sharing the co-write/production duties.

I've said it before, but seeing these songs finally come out after all these years feels surreal and damn near emotional, especially so here considering Simon McDonald played guitar on this track. Simon was a dear friend and someone I played in bands with through most of my twenties. He sadly passed away last year. Needless to say, this is a super sentimental one 🌹

Additional kudos to Roger who knocked the vox/melody out of the park 🗣️ and @gooddannys who, as always, rocked the mix into the late hours as the final thing done for the record 🎚️ (shoutout for making those big, smashing drums dominate in the mix 💥)

Give it a listen and look out for the new album, Filters, dropping on September 4th 💿 by @matttoman

Landscape photo dump (plus a couple videos) from the @kishi_bashi tour 🤠 What a wild time it was. More wild times (and music) ahead. In the meantime, check out the new single and look out for the new record ('Filters') out September 4th 💿 @bayonnemusic

In case you didn't see me post about it a million times yesterday, @bayonnemusic announced a whole bunch of stuff. A new album, a new single, new merch and a headlining tour announcement. We are officially in LP4 mode 🌈✨

The name of the album is 'Filters' and it drops on September 4th 💿 via @nettwerkmusic

The new single I'm referring to ('Oxygen') is a super special track to me bc it's the first thing that Roger and myself have made in conjunction with each other. Its journey from a demo to a fully completed track has been a long one, to say the least. It was a demo, it sat around forever, it got revived, it got worked on during the last album cycle, it sat around some more and then it got revived again... and here we are now 😊

Despite being something that's been around this long, it still continues to hold weight with me, personally. It's a ridiculously buoyant, effervescent track that feels almost at odds with the rest of the Bayonne catalogue, but also completely on the money, melodically-speaking. I can't even tell you how many times I've heard it at this point. The fact that it is finally out in the world is wild to me 🤯 There are two other tracks on the record that I also had a hand in writing/collaborating, and the feeling of putting our talents together—as friends and collaborators—is truly special to me 💖

As per usual, I played drums on a decent chunk of the record, but these particular tracks I'm referring to where we worked on things together mean a heck of a lot to me. I cannot wait for y'all to hear the finished product when it drops in September. I'm v proud of the work Roger (and myself and many others) did on it. Roger slaved over this thing and I think it shows. Also, of course, a big shoutout to @gooddannys who continues to kill it behind every mix and, additionally, @murmuration.music who has continued to help everything stay on track. Shoutout to everyone else involved 📢

Stay tuned for more in the coming months and peep the new track now wherever you listen to music 👀 taken in Austin, Texas by @matttoman

Fun times with @bayonnemusic opening for Pinback (!) in SF. I’m fairly certain they were among the first things Roger & I bonded over when we met in San Marcos, given that we’re both basically life-long fans 🤝 @bimbos365club was also one of the cooler venues I’ve ever been to in person. Lots of history, lots of vibes 🪩 Shouts out to @murmuration.music @jesserosoff @noisepop 🙌

Bonus points also getting to scope the @austinchronicle music awards win in print at the airport right as we landed back home 🆒 (peep the last slide)

Lots of Bayonne stuff on deck btw. New music is in high gear getting the finishing touches this month. Been listening to it a lot and am incredibly excited about it (go listen to the new one if you haven’t already). Lots of new music and shows in 2026 🤠 #biglots taken in San Francisco, California by @matttoman

Last week was epic being able to open up for @minusthebear on their reunion tour celebrating 20 years of Menos el Oso 💚

That album is tremendously significant to me in my musical upbringing. I saw them 20 years ago in Houston when they were touring that record and still listen to it all the time, so getting to see them play it front to back every night was surreal (I honestly think I’ve maybe seen them live more than any other band at this point).

Supremely grateful to be able to play with my bro @bayonnemusic and do stuff like this 🙌
