I had a friend say something to me today that really hit me. She said “the good men aren’t being loud enough”.
And she’s right.

There’s a culture that is very prominent in society in which women are treated like objects to use to gain points on the scoreboard of male approval. It doesn’t start in college, it starts way earlier.

It doesn’t start with R*pe and SA. It’s starts with little dares on the playground(speaking from a specific experience). It starts with dirty jokes in the middle school bathroom and It starts with terms like “hit that”, “score” and “easy”.

The issue isn’t understanding that no means no, it’s in respecting it.
Things like not calling a girl a b**** because she doesn’t want to kiss you.
Like knowing that she doesn’t owe you anything just because you are a “nice guy”
Like understanding that she has the right to change her mind.
Like knowing that if she is in a state of mind where she can’t even answer the question, the answer is no.

Talk to your sons.
Call out your brothers.
