While actual French people are protesting against the ruling class of their society, a multimillionaire here in #Healdsburg unironically threw a Halloween party with a French revolution theme. So I went as a baguette. And I ruined all the influencers' photos. LOL. #latergram by @mattvillano

WINELAND, the book I co-authored with @chefcharliepalmer, is kicking ass! Just signed a whole bunch of books that are now available at @appellation_healdsburg and elsewhere around Sonoma County. Look out! And if you'd rather buy your copy online, click the link in my bio. #booklife #freelancing #latergram by @mattvillano

My latest #travel feature for @cnn takes a look at the connection between Hawaii and Las #Vegas; a connection so strong that many refer to Sin City as the "Ninth Island." On your next trip, be sure to check out @killahkineevents, @islandkryptonite, @manapuaporkhashman, and @antidotelv (among others). Link in bio; please read and share. #freelancing by @mattvillano

THIS AMAZING HUMAN. She's silly. She's passionate. She's brilliant. She's kind. She's persistent. She's loyal. She's intense. She's athletic. She's creative. She's a leader. She's got the world's greatest eyelashes. She makes mean protein pancakes. And today, @ellaaa.7oh7 is 15. I am so lucky to be this Awesome Kid's dad. Looking forward to cheering her on for another year in 🏐 and in life. Happy Birthday, Rae. #sistergram by @mattvillano

Holy moly @thelonebellow absolutely SLAYED IT tonight at @littlesainthealdsburg. I mean, those cats can SING. We are so damn lucky to have such an epic music scene in our tiny town. #Healdsburg by @mattvillano

Okay, our new @luvcarwashgroup car wash in #Healdsburg is snazzy. Also, every parent of young kids will LOVE the free vacuums. Check it out. by @mattvillano

Seeing @ellaaa.7oh7 in this 🏐 warm-up jersey gives me all the feels. LFG HOUNDS. #volleyballdad by @mattvillano

HHS @hounds.volleyball showed up in full force to cheer on the Cardinal today at The Farm. Fun outing. Even for the 10yo who doesn't play. 🏐❤️ by @mattvillano

Awesome brunch this morning at @cafe_carrusel in Santa Rosa with my buddy Dianne. Cannot wait to return with the girls so we can try some of the items on that pancake menu. #latergram by @mattvillano

Mermaid spotted at yesterday's inaugural Savor Sonoma food and wine event at @gratoncasino. #travel #gambling #sonomacounty #latergram by @mattvillano

Whirlwind 16 hours in #Vegas to report a story at the KIllah Kine night market (@killahkineevents), eat @killahkineshrimp, and watch some Samoan dancing. Also somehow managed to check out the new-ish @class.cocktails.vermuteria, where I ordered an old fashioned that was served with a piece of jerky. My life is never ever boring ever. #travel #onassignment #latergram by @mattvillano

Excited to finally crack the spine on this one. (And ICYW, yes, I am also listening to Lost Weekend.) #travel #onassignment #upgrayedd by @mattvillano
