First ever Cavalry FC game! A huge Thank you to Greg Walter @gsw5426 for the amazing tickets! Best seats in the house in the Officers club. An excellent experience, delicious food, and an entertaining game! 5-0 Cavalry win! by @matty_baxter88

Yesterday was the Dice 1 on 1 High School Showcase, featuring some of Calgary's top Receivers and Defensive Backs. The day began with individual position training led by coaches from The Dinos and BYU.

Following that, the talent was on full display during the competition segment. We also saw a couple top-tier QBs throwing for the players, including @harrisonhyndman.

Thanks to @coach.jstew and @dicetrainingyyc for inviting me out! It was exciting to watch the next generation showcase their skills.

The downstairs bathroom renovation is complete!

Thank you Brian Davies!! We really appreciate all of your hard work and countless hours of planning and tinkering. The bathroom couldn’t have turned out better! All new pieces, heated flooring, a hidden medicine cabinet, a working fan and a new towel cabinet, plus the ceiling is done!

Not to forget all the other things, new faucets everywhere in the house and a new and improved bathroom light and shower curtain rod and the trim on the exterior of the house and I know I’m forgetting other things. We are so grateful for JoAnne Davies for her support and for lending her husband to us for the last month or so and thanks Grandpa for the many trips to Home Depot. by @matty_baxter88

The 2026 Knights boys rugby team had a season to remember. They became Clearwater Cup Champions in both the JV and Senior divisions. Finishing with an unbeaten regular season and playoffs for the third year in a row, they capped off their season with a School Sport Alberta - 5A Boys Rugby Provincial Championship!

With our third consecutive Tier 1/5A Provincial Championship, we set a SSA record by becoming the first boys team to ever achieve this.

The players really bonded well, especially off the field. As a group they weren’t overly clicky and all the personalities found a way to work together for the greater good of the Team.

To our Senior group, thank you for your efforts and your sacrifices. A few of you played all three years and never lost a 15’s match up. Perfection, three years straight is so impressive. But I hope you learned some things from rugby, like how good it is to make others better and the importance of being a selfless team mate.

We hope wherever you go that Rugby is still apart of your life, either playing or coaching or just speaking kindly about the sport that is so much fun to play! You will all be missed, don’t be strangers! Never forget, Once a Knight, Always a Knight!⚔️🏉🩶💚🖤

Our little school in Okotoks made history this past weekend! Every year we compete in the annual Clearwater cup. It is the one of the biggest high school sevens rugby tournaments in North America. Our senior team won in ‘23 & ‘24. Last year they finished in third place.

The big surprise was our junior team who as far as I am aware, have never won a Clearwater cup. That is until this past weekend when both boys teams and our senior girls team, all finished in first place.

This is my fifth season helping out with the Rugby team. That is now four Clearwater cup wins and three trips to the provincial championship, winning the last two. I am so grateful to be along for this amazing ride!

Let’s go Knights!⚔️🏉🖤💚🩶
