POSTS STORIES REELS

Today marks my 10 year anniversary at Compass. What a ride it has been. In October 2016, our CEO @robreffkin sat down with me to explain his vision for the future of real estate. He talked a lot about the industry, but over the course of an hour, we mostly talked about our lives and where we came from. At the time, we had fewer than 100 agents on the West Coast and barely had a website. But I loved him immediately and believed every word he said. Over the next 10 years, he fulfilled every promise and then some. Everyone who came on board at that time looks really smart in retrospect, but the risk was real, and it paid off because of him. The culture we have built and maintained while becoming as big as we are is no small feat. I am grateful every day to be where I am, and I cannot wait to see what the next 10 years brings. Thanks for the journey, Robert 👊 by @mattyalex

The West LA and Calabasas areas both have many things to love about them. But more and more Westsiders are turning to Calabasas for the value, the lifestyle, and the slower pace of living.

I work in both and have lived in both. If you want some perspective on what a change might look like, send me a message. Truth is, you can’t go wrong either way 🙏 by @mattyalex

Make no mistake, the boomers play hard ball. The roof is 40 years old; the sewer line has never been looked at; and they play for keeps.

My name is Matt Alexander, and I help clients in LA navigate these shark infested waters everyday. If you could use some help, send me a message. by @mattyalex

Cool thing about LA is that it has dozens and dozens of different neighborhoods and submarkets all with their own feel and personality. You just have to find the one that feels right to you. I’d love to help.

It’s like Miyagi says: You sell your home, no… ok. You sell your home, yes… ok. You sell your home, so-so… get squished, just like grape. by @mattyalex

The sky is not falling. Sellers who are working with their agent on an intentional and dialed in strategy are winning. You get one opportunity at a first impression. Let’s do it the right way, and have some fun. 🙏

You keep living your life. I’ll handle all of this. by @mattyalex

The Palisades has hit some sort of threshold and it’s really moving now. I encourage you to go take a look and get involved. Onward and upward from here 🚀

We live for the curve balls. Especially on a Monday. No fun if it’s easy … #realtor #losangeles #pacificpalisades #homesearch #calabasas by @mattyalex

A seaside town filled with committed, optimistic, excited people who can’t imagine living anywhere else. What a place 🫠 by @mattyalex

Rich in life. Rich in possibility.

There’s something incredibly special about the opportunity to build from the ground up in the Palisades. With the coast, the community, and everything else that makes this place so amazing.

Plans are already in place, offering a head start for someone ready to bring the vision to life on an oversized 9,310 sq ft lot with unobstructed ocean views.

This lot is now being offered for sale, presenting an opportunity to create something new in one of LA’s most coveted neighborhoods.

Just closed this gem in Santa Monica’s Sunset Park. This home had only 2 owners in the last 80 years. And now my young clients get to start their multi-decade experience in this special property. Pretty cool. A lot of markets around the country and in LA have cooled, but Santa Monica continues to climb and outperform. When you spend 5 minutes here walking around, it’s not hard to understand why.
