Our first booth at a major international meeting. Booth 2734 at #ASTRO26, all set up and ready for the exhibit hall to open.

It’s a milestone for a small team from Australia and Korea, and it feels like one. A big thank you to everyone who got us here. Jason Sohn and Tania Twentyman I couldn’t do this without you!

The timing feels right, too. Yesterday’s adaptive radiotherapy workshop kept coming back to what’s on our wall: credentialing, being audit-ready, and making change stick.

Every talk agreed the technology is ready. What decides whether adaptive works in a clinic is the team: who is trained, who is credentialed, and who is current on the day a patient needs a decision.

The advice from the safety talk was clear. Build a proficient core team with frequent coverage rather than training everyone lightly, allow ample time to get there, and document who is credentialed.

So a question for anyone running adaptive, or planning to:

How long did it take your team to go from go-live to a credentialed core team? And if someone asked you today who is signed off to adapt on which disease sites, how quickly could you show them?

Today we add our voice to World Radiotherapy Awareness Day and its theme, One Voice for Radiotherapy.

Radiotherapy contributes to nearly half of all cancer cures and more than half of people with cancer will need it, Yet over 200 million people live in a country with no access to it at all, and more than 40 countries across Asia and Africa do not have a single radiotherapy doctor. Every year, a million more lives could be saved by improving access.

We believe access is about more than machines. It is about the teams around them, and whether a team in a small regional hospital gets the same knowledge, expertise and support as any major centre.

Our name comes from ayni, the Andean idea that care flows to where it is needed and comes back greater than it was given, and that is the spirit we bring to helping clinical teams align, implement and sustain change.

To everyone working in radiotherapy today, we say thank you. You are the reason the evidence becomes a cure.
