A very hot 🥵 week in Ibiza 🌴🌞

A lot of fun, watched an eclipse, met some mermaids, Peggy made some lovely friends, some beautiful beach and boat days, hit the shops! 👛🛍️, lots of laughter and a few meltdowns (mainly me tbh) and survived the all inclusive buffet during school holidays #overstimulating

I have been lucky in life to sit at some of the most amazing stadiums, for some of the biggest sporting events and games in my time, but never once had I been through the gates of Wimbledon until this week. The stars aligned and an invite came my way, I have never been so spellbound by just pure British 🇬🇧 ness and pride in what this event is about. The flowers, the pimms, the outfits, and the hellos. I sat on centre court blown away by that sound, that power, the grace players show in this stunning game 1v1 no coach by your side, just the players mindset to overcome. Blown away and if it’s only once, I drank it in… and I saw the 🐐 as well @wimbledon by @mattypaine33

My first ever Half Term with Peggy Paine, a week off work and just 100% good times… we did it all, Sussex by the sea, grandparents, aunties, friends, football, Halloween 🎃 fireworks, and of course some retail ! I could get used to that… by @mattypaine33

Wednesday night, North London, cup fever…. Something very special around these streets, the old Highbury looms large casting shadows of glory over the new pretenders in the shiny new castle… from stalls, to supporters clubs, to the masses of red and white, all wondering if they now have a team to boot! Time will tell, but the Albion came to town today and were a little short… we go again, and we always believe in blue and white, and we always follow! by @mattypaine33

Will Rachel see this from heaven? Asks Peggy Rachel Paine, I said she sure will I said , she is with us everywhere. Rachel’s anniversary glistened with sunshine today and always makes this day a little easier. I still remember the phone call on Tuesday 6 April 1993 from Mum in London that said rachel had lost her battle with lupus. My Nan at the time just held me when the phone went back down… nothing will change the hurt through these years, but grief evolves and also becomes manageable due to the people and family in your life. @jennafknight and Peggy show new life, and Peggy always want to talk about her and is proud to have her name. I could not ask for more. I will always do behave in a ways my sister would be proud of me….Flowers will grow in the coming weeks and I hope rachel is smiling down in her own special space x always love rachel x by @mattypaine33

Quite simply one of the best days at football I have ever had.. @ubafcofficial gaffer Alan Tyers took me up North to his hometown and his club. I loved every second, always great to go to a proper football club with fans who know what the games all about and it’s in their blood. What a game, what a view, what hospitality, and what a win ‘ thank you Danny boy, and the whole team. You made the journey home a breeze ! Some days are tougher than others, one week the magic of Old Trafford, then to the banks of the Trent which proved a tricky day out ! Credit to Forest, one of best teams displays seen for a while, clinical, dominant, and full of energy. The players will be hurting, time to work hard, and come back with a reaction next Saturday night. An incredible day up North with the boys… we seem to have uniteds number at the Theatre of Dreams. Pure quality from each and every player and thoroughly deserved the win!
