Hard to get my head round it, but this was taken 40 years and a day ago as this exceptional being came into my life and electrified it forever. I refer to the one on the left. The blue dog isn't even sentient. Jackson on the other hand very very much is, as all who've encountered him will testify. A prince and a wonder. Ever in awe of him, so much love for him, he's truly something else. Such a gift.

New release alert! Le Volume Courbe with "Planet Ping-Pong".If it weren’t such a sin I would be proud to announce my involvement with this gem of an LP. So I’ll say I’m thrilled, honoured, humbled. Work began sometime around the fall of the Bastille and finally, finally it is done and manifest in this realm. Notable mostly for our version of “To Know Him is to Love Him” but you also can find actually very special contributions from the much missed Terry Hall and Martin Duffy and a cast of hundreds if not thousands. Co- mixed
by audio god and great haircut Brendan Lynch. It sounds gorgeous, and singular A finely crafted, delicately chiselled, exquisitely realised jewel of intimate, poignant yet fizzy delight. Already album of the week on Brooklyn Vegan, and if anyone should know, apart from say God, the mighty ineffable creator of all things, they should! Charlotte really deserves it. All her work is good but this crowns it. This after all, is a girl that brings her own porridge, cheese, and tonic to the situation, know what I mean? Out now on Stereolab’s record label Duophonic. Cheap at the price, whatever it may be! You can’t really put a price on bliss can you? Maybe you can. Anyway, great record. Neat cover too! by @mattyskylab

Miracles upon miracles! 10,000,000 kisses upon my beloved Astrid! By some uncanny sequence of events I prevail to to celebrate her 60th year! Mercy lawks! How did that happen? C'est pas possible! Mais non! Mais Oui! Christ on a bike! My daily miracle and shining star, each day brings us closer. Thank the universe and everything within it, more or less, give or take, that we found each other. A miracle! Je t'adore baby 💚💙💚 by @mattyskylab

Superb show yesterday with John Coxon and J Spaceman band performing to William Eggleston’s video movie Lost in Canton. Achieving a real giddy intensity. At Earth in Dalston - never been before - what a room! Faded stripped Deco like a David Lynch dream space, perfect match for the performance by @mattyskylab
