Today I said goodbye to my best friend and the kindest human being I ever knew ❤️ Nick was a beautiful soul, the true definition of a Beauty. He always put everyone first and had the biggest heart. Everyday I’ll miss our hour long calls, your big bear hugs, going on unforgettable adventures, golfing and watching Sports / Seahawks together.

We DJ’d our first club show together back in 2012 in Nanaimo and it was an honour to share the stage with you for 2 sold out shows that month. We convinced the rooftop of Omnia Club in Las Vegas on our bros trip that you were Avicii and had to fight off the paparazzi. You racked up many points and fights in Junior A hockey, worked your ass off with a work ethic only few have and taught me how to treat everyone with love and respect. You cared so much for your family and I will always love you. Rest easy my cousin & brobro ❤️

Please join us to celebrate Nick's life at the Nanaimo Golf Club on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. as we gather to honor a life that gave so much to so many.

Rest In Heaven NICK VANSTONE ❤️🕊️ #avicii #brobro #loveyou #missyou taken in Vancouver, British Columbia by @matvanstone
