Portrait of Igor Fedorovich Kostin (December 27, 1936 - June 9, 2015) mid-nineties in Kiev (solarized polaroids )
Igor Kostin is considered the documenter of the Chernobyl disaster.
He took what is presumably the only surviving photograph of the stricken Chernobyl reactor from the night of the accident. by @matzeziegler

Freunde! Wir freuen uns sehr euch diese Ausstellung in München ankündigen zu können - zusammen mit 9 anderen tollen FotografInnen aus München! Nächste Woche ist es soweit: „HEIMAT — 10 Blickwinkel“

Was ist Heimat? Ein Ort? Ein vertrauter Geruch, eine Färbung des Lichts, eine Sprache, die Erinnerungen heraufbeschwört? Verkörpert sie Sehnsucht nach etwas, das nur im Herzen zu spüren ist oder vielleicht nie existiert hat?

Diese Ausstellung versammelt persönliche Perspektiven von 10 in München lebenden Fotograf*innen in einem Dialog, der Raum für Fragen lässt: eine Einladung zur Reflexion, um nachzuspüren und sich ein eigenes Bild von Heimat zu machen. Kuratiert von Thomas Mandl und Gabriele Eder.
