Sparked by Lapo Underground’s experience at EXPOAID Rimini 2026, Italy’s national celebration of inclusion, the project emerged as the artist curated and composed music for a groundbreaking high-fashion runway, where people with disabilities graced the catwalk in couture. What started as a singular performance blossomed into a heartfelt exploration, transforming into a deeply human musical statement. Through its four chapters, I AM WORTH IT weaves an emotional tapestry of welcome, uncertainty, awareness, and belonging, drawing inspiration from the artist’s own family ties to disability. This is not simply a story about disability; it is a tribute to the innate dignity within every person, and a testament to how love, education, and genuine inclusion can transcend stereotypes.
