Discovering Lofoten in the summer ☀️🥹

Hiked up Mannen above Haukland beach, was not disappointed by the views! Cooked pasta at the top and even went for a (chilly) swim after ✌️ by @maud.derw

A weekend by the sea with @blutopia_org 🌊

Recently I joined this charity as one of the new Paris ambassadors and together with the team from all over France we spent a weekend talking about how we can encourage more people to put more seaweed on their plates, we went harvesting for serrated wrack with @aore_algues and held a seaweed tartare tasting at a local festival 🪸🌿

Pic 8 is us trying to look like seaweed 🙃

Check out for their latest documentary ‘Les Bonnes Vivantes’, featuring lots of incredible people working with seaweed, including of course @lofotenseaweed 🫶 by @maud.derw

Last days of summer 🌞

1, 3, 7. New hand sewn gingham set 🦋 (also props to my grandma for learning how to take photos with an iPhone 🥹)
5. New hand sewn purple shorts 🫒

Spent days playing cards with my grandparents after lunch (in between some laptop work time of course), and evenings cooking, knitting or sewing.

Then some bits of a day trip to Porquerolles, an island filled with the smell of eucalyptus and pine trees, crystal blue sea and the summery sound of les cigales that are still going on as the summer ends. Plus a visit to one of my favourite art spaces @fondationcarmignac 🩵🦞🌊 by @maud.derw

Pic Blanc du Galibier (almost) with Dad ⛰️🛘 by @maud.derw

i’ve been asking myself what is it about this place… 🏔️🧚🧡🌈 maybe it’s the infinite juicy blueberries & rare cloudberries scattered across the forest and spongy land, or the saunas & midnight sun dips in the Arctic water, or the dreamy blue daylight at 2am or the hikes with never ending views over the jagged island peaks dropping steep into the sea, and the fact you can go for a surf and a hike in the same day (still need to go for a surf here, next time), or the purple wildflowers growing everywhere along the roads or the weather changing every day making you appreciate every version of it… i don’t know… but i do know i’ll be back again soon <3 by @maud.derw

so in love with this island life 🧡🌞🏔️ by @maud.derw
