A Little Piece of Hope.

SA14: “Kintsugi” is the first collaboration to unite talented Chilean producers @maudebrunod and @_orkam_ , released on Sur Ácido. Rooted in a Japanese concept, the EP carries a metaphor running through all three tracks: the break, the void it leaves behind, and the reconstruction of something stronger and more luminous than the original. ‘Kintsugi’ (155 BPM) fuses the impact of Emotional Schranz and Hard Dance with the melodic sensibility that defines both artists. Mau de Brunod brings his dark, energetic identity, forged in Hard Trance and Acid, while Ørkäm adds intense emotional lines already recognized across his solo catalogue. The result is epic: an EP of hard kicks, textures, melodies and melancholic vocals, built for the dancefloor and for something beyond speed - an emotional story behind every drop. ‘Falling Apart’ opens as an explosive start: distorted percussion, rising tension and a deep bassline pulling you into sonic disintegration as the point of departure. ‘Aunque Me Quede Sin Ti’ is the emotional core of the EP, the most melodic and confessional track of the three, with Spanish vocals nodding to the best references in contemporary Schranz while honoring the project’s Latin American roots. ‘A Little Piece Of Hope’ closes the narrative with a brighter resolution, the ‘golden repair’ translated into hopeful synths and progressions over a base that remains just as intense and rhythmic. With this release, Sur Ácido cements its role as a platform for international projection of emerging Chilean techno, and ‘Kintsugi’ stands out as an EP with its own identity within the Emotional Schranz scene.
